"As was doing Route 66, found this little gem along the way. Exceeded all my expectations with how clean, comfortable and lovely the room was for being a motel. Easy to park, plus a really lovely breakfast included. Right opposite you have a quirky oldschool bar/saloon with friendly servers and all the main busy town centre is just 2-3 minutes drive down in a straight line. Re that- Romo’s Restaurant is a must visit for great food."

"Not a very attractive property. The room smelled very strong of deodorizer and I thought it might make it hard to sleep, but i got used to it ans slept fine. But if you are sensitive to that sort of thing, it might be best to not stay here. The host was very friendly. My husband thought the bed was a little hard. From the pictures it showed a bedspread, it didnt have one. It was 2 flat sheets with a blanket in the middle. This is a fine place to sleep but I would not spend my whole vacation...

"It was an old property but had been updated. I had booked it because it was iconic on Route 66. It was a comfortable night's stay and we got what we paid for. I wasn't looking for luxury, and I stayed there based on the price and the artfutlness of the place."

"Didn't feel safe as there was no deadbolt lock on door. Room hadn't been used in months and it was dirty. Window in extra had no blinds or window covering. Cockroaches in tub. Only positive was that Bobby from the front desk was very helpful and nice."

The bunk "beds" were a thin pad laid over plywood and were very uncomfortable and the loft was far too low for a grown person to even sit up in the bed. "
