"My partner and I booked our stay at the Tropicana last minute and were hopeful because of the reviews. Overall the staff were very kind, the room at first look was very clean but I couldn’t help but notice areas like the bathroom tub were still dirty with lose hairs here and there. Also the appliances weren’t dusted and I found some random beads on the ground. Most of the towels also had dark / black stains on them evens though they’d been wash I’m assuming. "I loved how close they were to Disneyland and how safe it felt in the hotel. Our room was supposed to be a non smoking room, but it always had a slight smell to it which bothered us everytime we got back to our room. We would also pass quite a few homeless people on the corner of 7 Eleven right next to the hotel, which didn't help the cleanliness around the hotel. Oddly enough there was also a guy in the basement parking that looked like he was repainting his car down there. With all that said,...

"This is a great stay for the price! A great option if you’re just looking for a place to stay while you spend the day at the parks. It is in walking distance of the parks. Parking onsite is free with booking of a room. You can tell the building is pretty old, but it was clean and we felt very safe!! A/C in rooms works really well. Would recommend if you’re looking for a cheap option when visiting Disney!!"
