"Checking in and out is very simple. The room was nice looking, but the bed is hard as a rock and felt like sleeping on cardboard...the floor of the room was also so dirty that walking on it with our bare feet made them instantly dirty. The bathroom was clean and room service cleaned our room nicely each day. I just wish the bed was comfortable. This isn't a place you'd want to lay in bed all day and rest- it isn't comfortable."

"We showed up only to find that our place had been taken by someone else. It was at night and we had no car and no where to stay. We paid online and were told sorry about the inconvinience but there were no other properties available. We were in an alley with our luggage to begin what we thought was our weekend of fun in San Diego. It was such a bad experience and a stressful one too. We ended up finding 1 room with 2 beds for four adult non couple males. We were charges more than the town hime...

"The kids had a great time climbing the boulders all over the property and exploring. We explored more nature and saw more animals on property here than we did hiking at Cuyamaca. My wife loved it and said she'll never stay anywhere else in Julian. We went across the street for strawberry picking, hayrides and the best pie in California according to Yelp (and the best breakfast sandwich, it's not on the menu, it is turkey, egg & cheese on a buttermilk biscuit) and the best pecan glazed cinnamon...

"The hotel was as good ask you could ask for. Clean and neat. Beware of CERTAIN personnel. 3rd shift. I came to town at about midnight and after looking ALL OVER for a hotel that does not make you wait until 3pm (WTF??????) to check in I booked online and was turned away at 4am. Had to walk around until the office opened(?????)."
