"Julia was a wonderful host. The 0North (annex with two suites) was furnished with stylish modern / Scandanavian decor. Comfy bed. Great downtown location! Free off street parking. Small kitchen was well stocked with a delicious selection of light snacks and beverages. The only down side would be the narrow steep flight of stairs that would make the 0North suites non-accessible for anyone with mobility challenges. Would definitely stay here if we are ever in Anchorage again."

"You will have a wonderfully clean apt. and comfortable. The reality of the homeless population in the area is stark but we were not bothered. Twenty minute walk to wonderful bike rentals and restaurants."

"We enjoyed having the whole top floor of the home. It included a living, dining room and kitchen and bedrooms. The owner was kind and friendly. He greeted us upon arrival and stopped once more during our stay to see if we needed anything. "

"Situated in historic downtown, walkable to shops and restaurants. Suggest "F Street station" restaurant for an excellent fish meal in a pub style atmosphere."

"Location and exterior was a little rough. Homeless sifting through the dumpster and hotel garbage bins. Hotel could use some updating and polish. When making the reservation I chose this hotel because it included breakfast in the price. Big sign that said “Breakfast Buffet $17” for a mind of normal hotel breakfast. We passed on breakfast! "

"Very affordable for a nice, clean basic room with no frills. Place has been cleaned up considerably since my last visit a few years prior. You won't get a mint on your pillow or a cute towel-folded animal on your bed, but you can't beat the value for a clean room."
