The rooftop bar/pool area alone made the stay worth it. The pictures I saw online before our stay don't do it justice. It is a massive, nice area with fantastic views. That being said, you can't bring any drinks up there - you have to buy from the bar which is a bit pricey. Rooms were big and clean. Great balcony views. They are renovating the property next door and it is a little loud in the mornings. We were on vacation though, so we weren't mad about being up early for the beach. The main complaint we had, which is on par with other reviews - the valet parking. You have to valet everywhere in the area in general, but $40/day expected tip is absurd. They are understaffed all days, but having only 2 people working on a Friday which is the busiest check-in/check-out day blows my mind. We waited for almost 45 mins for our car when we left. It's maddening because the car is literally across a walk-way in a garage and it would be so easy to pick it up by yourself. Not a great experience with that but not a whole lot I could do. Plan on a wait. You do get towels and beach chairs each day which is nice, but you have to pay $20/day for an umbrella. If it is super windy, they will take the umbrellas down and won't refund you. They did at least make this known before purchasing. I would still stay at the property again even with all of the additional fees.
