Wonderful location - right next to the Tower Bridge, close to both the Tower Hill and the London Bridge rail stations, and so easy to get anywhere at all! The room had a nice view of the Thames, was clean and pretty quiet too. The staff were superb, especially Ramos T., the concierge, who assisted us with tickets to various shows and events and provided clear and efficient transportation advice. The only negative at all was that the lifts, errr... elevators were not all working and so getting down to the ground floor and up again took quite some time.

Have been to a fair few places in London now and this was the worst. During check in we were simply handed our room key and pointed towards the lifts, no welcome info given like facilities, breakfast, evening dining options, room features, room service etc. The lifts are so slow, there is only two to serve the entire hotel because the other two seem to be permanently 'out of service' (other reviews say the same thing). One time we waited over 5mins for one to arrive and it was completely full when it did finally arrive. You feel like you have gone back 30yrs when you step in the room. Everything looks tired, the windows only open about 3cm, the A/C just blows room temperature air around. There was no minibar, which meant no refreshment options and any drinks we had brought could not be cooled. The TV was big which was nice, but none of the smart features worked like Netflix youtube or phone casting. So you are left with live TV only but NO TV GUIDE?? The bathroom is outdated and takes about 2mins of running the tap to get any hot water. When do finally get hot water you'll find the bathroom floor is now completely flooded because for some reason there is a drain in the actual bathroom floor which gets backed up from the drain in the bath tub and proceeds to flood the entire bathroom floor. And...NOT ONE PLUG socket near the bed. I have Never been to a hotel that doesnt plugs near the bed. This is like a basic feature come on! Its just not worth the price they charge

Es war alles sauber, das Zimmer aber schon sehr abgewohnt.Das Frühstück war gut.Es war in der früh sehr schwierig dort mit dem Lift hinzukommen, man musste extrem lange auf den Lift warten.
