As a lifetime platinum Bonvoy member i used to look forward to the breakfast at the hotels. It was just a nice small perk for staying at this level of hotel but it has gotten to the point where it doesn't factor into where i stay. This hotel pushed the button enough for me to write this review. On a Saturday morning at 9:45 my wife and i arrived at the food area it was pretty busy. The food was also severely depleted which is usually SOP, however the staff was extremely energetically removing everything as guests were asking for help with "do you have any ... questions". The severity of how far hotels have degraded this "Perk" for staying there is evident by they the was no waffle iron, no danish or muffins, 1 yogurt. No fruit, however i noticed a bunch of bananas in the back. The eggs in the pan had been there for quite some time and nothing in the other pan. When i finally decided to just get some orange juice it had already been locked. I decided to get on with my day. It should be noted that at 10:02 AM the four employees had absolutely cleared and cleaned the food area and were getting on with their day. I wish i could say that this is a one off but it has been getting worse stay by stay.
