Beautiful resort , we had a lot of fun, lots of things to do. You need a little train to get everywhere , it is very big, they should have more , our only issue was waiting 30 min for another one to come and take us where we need.

Very nice hotel with lots of things to do and places to eat. Did not like that. There was so much sales of vacation packages even on my way out the door, as well as the pressure on the beach to purchase cigars, pictures, etc.

We arrived to our room on June 3rd. Very bad smell of mold in the room. I called front desk and request to change room. They say we can’t we fully booked. I checked the room air filter and was all mold on it and around it. I took some pics. The same in the shower area was full of mold. Second day ac broke down and apparently happened to the whole building we are in because I saw 2 other rooms on same floor morning their luggage to another. Again I reached out to the front desk about ac not working and they said tech will up fixing it. Room temp 78F and smell of mold is worse than ever. I took filter out and placed in bag and stored it outside in balcony. By night we head back to room and same thing no AC and mold smell. We got moved to another room that night after complaining multiple times. On last day of check out I asked for compensation for all the hassle we went through and front desk said we have no record of what you saying and I’m a liar. Room 5238 is bad and I hope anyone stays in it to check for mold and ac working first. You don’t want waste 2 days of your vacation trying to solve a problem that’s not yours.

From start to finish, this was the absolute worst trip and resort we have ever stayed at. Expedia failed to get us to our trip in a timely manner. We even had to book our own flights through Southwest as Expedia’s solution was to have us arrive 2 days late to our trip. Expedia did not credit or extend our day. We paid for ocean view and vip and did not receive either. Once we arrived to the resort no one showed us how to get to our room, we got lost and walked in the pouring rain. It took the resort 45 minutes to bring us our bags after they told us it would be 10 minutes. The resort had roaches and bed bugs. We also complained multiple times about our room not having ocean view or receiving any of the “vip perks” that we paid for. We have used Expedia for 6 years and will NOT use you guys again. This trip was an absolute nightmare and we will not recommend anyone to use Expedia or the resort we stayed at.
