"Thunderbird Lodge was perfect. I was working a festival in French Gulch that ran out of accomodations and Thunderbird Lodge was a great crashpad for me. I can't speak for the pool or out of the room amenities, since I was only in my room between the hours of 2am-12pm, but everything in the room was great. Clean, comfy, and relaxing. The only issue was that the phone would ring at random hours in the morning (even around 3am!) and when I'd answer, either no one was there or I couldn't hear them....

"It was a beautiful place to stay! Friendly staff and people staying there. We booked it only for one night as a nice spot off of I-5 on our way to NorCal Beach. Next time we will stay much longer and enjoy renting a boat or Wave Runner!"

"The staff was great.. had some vagrants sitting in the bushes doing drugs by the entrance closest to our room, but the lovely young lady at the front desk kindly sent them on their way and we had a really enjoyable stay after that. "
