Very convenient for downtown. Old but clean and great service. If you are bothered by street noise try and get a room high up maybe. Also no a.c. which was not an issue for my stay but if the weather was really hot might trouble some. Was there for conference - worked out great.

Our experience was horrible. My partner has chronic back pain and the elevator was broken so we had to walk up eight flights of stairs every time we entered or left the hotel. We will report this to authorities because it does not adhere to ADA. Also, we have been lied to 3 times (told the elevator would be fixed in the morning, told there would be a manager to speak to in morning and we would be moved to another room asap). None of those happened without further prompting and frustration.

The staff here are super friendly, the facilities are clean and well kept. I enjoyed our room, and the bed was really comfy. We had a hiccup where the elevator broke down halfway thru our stay, and we were on the 7th floor! It was pretty awful climbing all those stairs so we really made conscious decisions about what we were doing when! Lol. Thankfully it was fixed on the morning we left, because I was dreading carrying our luggage down.

Checked in for 3 nights, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Elevator stop running Saturday afternoon till Monday morning. Staff at front desk were notified that restroom ran out of toilet paper all afternoon and housekeeping were nowhere to be seen.. Next door neighbors were making lots of noises Sunday night long. Lack of assistance from staff during Elevator out of service. Poor service fron two young guys at tge front desk especially that latino or spanish guy. I dont recommend this hotel and will not come back.

The stay was pre-paid via Expedia, which provided cancellation options. The value for the price paid was satisfactory, especially given the proximity to Union Square and the downtown area. The hotel lacks air conditioning but offers ceiling fans in the rooms; however, it may become uncomfortable when temperatures exceed 20°C, as the rooms are relatively small. The hotel provides a light continental breakfast, which adds to the overall value. Similar to older London hotels, this establishment has only one elevator, and the stairs are not practical due to their size. Hotel amenities were also pretty good for the price paid, area seems safe.
