First room was sub-par and in need of renovation.Bathroom was highly patched up and in poor condition for the category and rate. Carpet was dirty.
Hotel staff was kindly able to move me to a higher floor with better room in same category. You would be well advised to arrange/ask for a newer room if possible. Certainly check the room before unpacking.
Both rooms had televisions with terrible reception and very limited selection. Both rooms had sinks with poor draining.
Elevators worked awkwardly; there are two banks of lifts that DO NOT share the same call button so be aware you have to hit two different up or down buttons..
Pool area is awkward to get to and closes unusually early at 6PM. Changing rooms were not particularly clean.
Location of hotel is good - bus stop in front and around the corner. Location is about a 5-7 minute bus ride to the Suntec convention center. Hotel is also nearby to MRT (metro rail) stop at Bugis Station However be aware that the MRT trains are several levels below ground and navigation to the surface can be a bit confusing. I advise using the lift/elevator to get to the surface and then try to navigate to the hotel.
Was not happy with the breakfast service. Limited buffet selection of not well "maintained" food - especially with respect to temperature - not hot enough! Better options elsewhere.
Be aware that there is a $300 Singapore dollar hold on your credit card while staying here. It was promptly refunded at the end of the stay.
