Room was clean, people that worked at hotel were all nice hard working people, showers had low pressure and didn’t have hand held shower head, so it took forever to wash soap off off your body with the shower head mounted to the ceiling that came down like rain. Door was good in first floor restaurant and servers were kind.

This was our first stay and it was amazing! The location was great, parking and very easy and the area felt safe. The room was extremely quiet and very spacious. The Moonrise will be our new go-to while in St. Louis.

I’m not sure why this hotel has a 4 star rating. Our room was musty smelling and could have used another cleaning before we got there. Thankfully we always bring hotel shoes to wear or I wouldn’t have felt comfortable being barefooted. We also had to get a linen change because the bedding had stains and hairs in it. The plus side is how convenient the location is if you aren’t doing only downtown things. It’s minutes away from the art museum, zoo, and history museum (all free by the way, just pay for parking).
