I did not enjoy paying a $50 per night parking fee. I think thats insane and i would've never stayed if i was aware of that charge before booking.

This hotel is definitely overrated. The overall rating makes no sense at all. It is terribly outdated. I had issues with technology my entire stay. And the rooms are like a motel. Totally unsatisfied.

Reservation linkage from Expedia was poor. It took a time to find and confirm the reservation. the first room they assigned was wrong, but the issue was resolved after request.

This hotel needs to update the rooms, extremely dated and slightly run down. There was no connections for electronics: no outlet for charging Ipad/Iphone or Android. The room I had had a large space between the floor and the bottom of the door-enough to put my hand thru it. Can hear the neighbors! This does not qualify to be called luxury - by any stretch of the imagination.

The staff was extremely accommodating. The hotel is in a excellent location. I especially liked the covered balcony and was able to eat my breakfast out there even though it was raining.

We were unaware of the expensive parking fees. The staff was friendly and helpful and when you arrive it’s beautiful BUT the rooms are outdated; there is no venting in the bathroom and the set of the bathroom is weird not to mention the flatness of the shower which caused the water to run all over the floor and the cheap college shower curtain 😩. There was no microwave and I guess the carpet is what caused me and my husband to sneeze and have a headache so bad that we had to walk to the CVS to get allergy meds once our eyes started swelling. I think it was just overpriced, the rooms need a major upgrade

The property is well appointed and pleasant overall. The staff were excellent and hospitable. The room was very nice and roomy and I appreciated the bathroom having a tub and doors of separation between toilet/shower and outer bath/sink and between bathroom/bedroom (privacy). The beds were comfortable and housekeeping did a good job.Overally a good experience.

The room was great--clean, quiet, and well appointed, with all the usual amenities. The bed was very comfortable and staff was friendly and helpful. The only issue was the card to get in and out of the parking garage never worked and every time, I had to get the door man to assist me to get in or out.

The Washington Plaza Hotel was clean and the staff were nice. The property is a little outdated the rooms are exactly as shown in the photos. Nothing extravagant but no complaints either! I’d stay again.

Affordable and easy walk to the metro. Staff was friendly but not at all helpful. Dining was limited and unclear about menu options. Cleaning service was not available over a multiple day stay.

the staff was very nice and warm, the hotel was very good, the restaurant in the hotel was great, gym is decent i think the only complain is the pool was close. The location is convenient, like 12 min walking to the white house, pharmacy, souvenirs, bars and restaurants around! I will def come back

The check in staff at the front lobby around 3pm on 3/22/23 were very rude, unhelpful and unprofessional. Will never book with this hotel again.

There was a lot of rowdiness in and around the hotel in the evening and even until the early morning hours. I took a room with a balcony so that I could enjoy a coffee in the morning outside. The tenant next door was smoking mj on his balcony so that made it impossible to sit outside. I didn't report anything but in hindsight maybe I should have just said something to him.
