"Horrendous experience! Host should be struck off your listings. The first thing he said to us was ‘hotel finished’, meaning we weren’t welcome. We assumed it was because we didn’t check in within the hour timeframe given, even though we rung the host to explain beforehand. "This is an absolutely wonderful place to stay. My partner and I had such a great time staying at the Château. It is a beautiful old castle-style boutique hotel located on a hill overlooking beautiful fields with forest all around. There were birds everywhere. The entire place was decorated with 17 century paintings and other decor that really made you feel like royalty. The breakfast was a lavish presentation with baskets of fresh bread and coffee in fine silver pots, which added to the experience. This is one of my favorite places I have ever stayed, and I would strongly recommend this to anyone wanting a romantic getaway."
