"We stayed in one of the lodges which was superb. Clean, with quality furnishings, comfortable beds, and a two minute stroll to the amenities. Beautiful, well kept grounds and pleasant, helpful staff made this a fantastic stay. Although we only stayed for the one night, we were so impressed we are now intending to book one of the lodges for several nights next time. I should also mention that the surrounding countryside is stunning and there is plenty to do and see for all ages."

"It's an interesting old building. Decor in my room was dated but bathroom more modern and bed very comfortable. The main restaurant looks a bit Butlins but the food in the bar was excellent on both nights. My second night was ruined by noisy occupants of 206, starting at around 2:30 and they left at around 5:30. Not at all sure they were guests. Had to leave 1 day early and reported the above.
