Beautiful spa hotel with all the amenities you could want for a leisurely vacation. Conveniently located between Edinburgh and Inverness to explore this region of the Highlands. The property is set along the Loch’s edge and offers direct access to miles of well maintained trails.

This was our first stop on a 10 day trip through Scotland and it was outstanding. The views from our room were beautiful, the breakfast was fantastic and staff was great. It was easy to park and close to Pitlochry. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was exceptionally well maintained and updated. The staff, well if anyone says anything negative about this particular staff they would be lying, they were the most amazing group of employees we have ever had dealings with. The food was amazing, I am now hooked on Black Pudding, thank you Fonab. We did not get to use the spa or the pool, we were too busy traveling the beautiful Highland countryside. Overall, if you are looking for a beautifully maintained property, ultimate staff, gorgeous views give Fonab a look.

Stunning location, attentive staff and beautiful room. Dinner in the Brassiere was exceptional with the most amazing steak. Spa facilities were good and spotless. Great breakfast selection and prices in the bar were very reasonable. First visit but we will be back.

It was such a relaxing few days. The staff were so friendly. Accommodation was special and although this time we didnt have a view it didn't take away from the room itself. The food was delicious and the ample breakfasts were a treat. Easy walk into Pitlochry and Festival Theatre very close by.

Don’t choose this if you want an authentic castle stay. Was not that at all. But hotel was beautiful rooms nice beds comfortable and beautiful location overlooking river. Super expensive and nothing of a castle to look at at all.

Overall a really great stay. Food, staff, surrounding areas were excellent but the room was very tired and underwhelming for a suite. Not worth the money and we wouldn't return, to the same suite anyway.
