"The hotel was excellent, the room was spotlessly clean and the bed was nice and big. They have an essence spray as you walk into reception that weirdly just makes the whole place feel inviting. We stayed for two nights to go to a local club and we did a Spa day at the hotel's Y Spa on the Saturday which was brilliant."

"Hotel is really nice and good location by the riverside. Retains a lot of character. Good value. Room is nice and spacious and restaurant is good. Negatives: car park is too small and we couldn't park onsite on check-in (also not free). Also out hotel room was not ready on arrival and this affected our plans for the day and could only check in late at night. "Friendly staff member and make sure that you go to the main building to get your room key and also the parking registration -- parking at that moment is included - no extra fee unless you forget to register at the front desk when you check in but you have to re-register every time you drive the car out of the parking area.
