"The shuttle feature is great from the train station, although you need to plan ahead due to its limited availability. Taxi to the property was inexpensive and affordable from the train station as well. On suite onsen and private bath is a must have feature with a clear view to the river below and the forest. Dinner serve in room was beyond exceptional. Breakfast was a little disappointing but still good. Definitely making this place an annual tradition to revisit every time we're back in...

"Absolutely wonderful place to stop on the way to Koyasan. I will admit when I showed up at the inn I was later than expected, had walked many miles, and was in quite a bad mood. The welcome I received changed all of that. They took me straight to my room and gave me tea and treated me like I was part of their family. I had the best meal of my time in Japan at this inn. The onsen was the perfect temperature and felt so good on my sore muscles. If you are maki my the journey to Koyasan this inn is...

"It was a perfect place to land after a very long transport (over 20 hours). Kiyo was very helpful and got me from the airport the evening before and to the train station the next day. She is very pleasant and her room is restful and traditional Japanese. It was a great entry to Japan.She even had a selection of pillows."

"We enjoyed our stay here very much. Our kids were very excited because the room was very large. I had a great night's sleep - I hope to stay longer next time. The bath was great, too. I used to live in this area, so it was really great to be back in the local area. It was also great to stay in a very authentic Japanese area, a much more interesting experience for my family than staying in a hotel. Also, there is a great beach area about 15 minutes away on foot. "Reasonably sized bath with water jets and extras, i.e massage chair, game console rental. Given the nature of the premises, staff aren’t always presently seen. But they are unread pleasant and helpful, especially when speaking slower in Japanese for foreign tourists and offering helpful tips, like locations of stations and nearby convenient stores. Big value for a decent night stay."
