"You couldn’t wish for a warmer welcome even though we arrived in the middle of the night. The breakfast was great with a good selection of items. Antonella was extremely helpful, giving us maps of not only Priamo but also surrounding towns. She also gave us bus timetables. The view was amazing. "This was our favorite hotel we stayed at throughout our trip to Italy. It was on the closer end to the coast which was great because its a steep walk up to most other hotels. The decor is Mediterranean style white and blue which adds a charm. Room was clean and the shower was good size. The view from the balcony was amazing! We sat out and drank coffee during the mornings. "

"We were so impressed with Hotel Open Gate! The staff are very welcoming and the rooms are great. We stayed on the second floor and had a magnificent balcony overlooking the water. The location is a perfect spot to day trip to other towns along the Amalfi coast and there is transportation right in front of the hotel. The restaurant has a great terrace on the water as well. Great spot if you are looking to be seaside but also explore."

"Our stay here was amazing! Antonio was super helpful and helped us arrange a taxi from the train station in Naples to the hotel and then back to the train station when our stay was over. The breakfast was very good and you can't beat the view from the balcony!! It's a short bus ride to Positano and the bus stop is really close to the hotel. Definitely recommend staying here!!!"

"We loved our stay here in this busy little pocket of Amalfi. We were there mid-April and although day time was bustling with ppl, evening was much quieter. Staff were very attentive when called upon and morning breakfasts in the restaurant upstairs with the view of the beautiful cathedral was wonderful. Unfortunately, our room was right under the restaurant so was quite alot of noise, it didn't keep us from getting a good nights sleep."
