"Savignione is a quaint and adorable town 20 minutes by car from Genoa. We spent 4 days here and thoroughly enjoyed the sweet mountain air and the friendliness of the people. Not only Claudia and her husband are wonderful, efficient, friendly, and multilingual, but they also run a tight ship. We felt so at home in this place.The place is a short walk from the town piazza where you can leave/park your car. There is a newly opened pizzeria and Mike’s taverna are great places for dinner. "

"This was a last minute booking, while driving on a freeway towards Milan, literally an hour before check in. But what a nice surprise! "I got to the train station at 6pm. There were no taxis. I called the hotel. The person who answered spoke Italian only. He gave me a number of a taxi station, which wasn't available.
