“vila gale marina”
great hotel in town centre, close to bars etc.Very clean, good breakfast and fantastic views.Ideal for golf.
“GREAT BREAK AWAY FROM ROUTINE”
I surprised my husband with a trip to Portugal for his birthday : a weekend without children in the sun! I wanted a hotel close to the airport that was also close to a beach and a resort centre so that once we had arrived, we had no more travelling. The VILLA GALE MARINA was perfect ... 35 euros from the airport; 3 minutes from the clean beach and clear blue sea and 3 minutes from the marina where you wanted to be in an evening, mooching around the tavernas and shops. We had a fantastic time and will definitely go back again. The hotel was clean and comfortable but was really used as our base only. We had a fantastic view of the sea and marina from our 8th floor room. The air-con worked. I would have preferred more storage space but we were only there for a long weekend so that didn't matter. The breakfasts were plentiful. The meals we had in the different Marina restaurants were all fresh and tasty and there were also plenty of bars for people watching. All in all, I got 10/10 for his birthday surprise present plus a promise of a return trip ... Result!
“looking to re book next year”
Hotel very clean, friendly staff, great pool area and near to the beach/ marina. Great hotel/ location for a relaxing, quiet holiday. Vilamoura has some great restaurants and pubs overlooking the marina. Will hopefully return next year for another realxing 3 nights without the kids.
“Once again a marvelous stay”
The hotel has a central location in Vilamoura with the beach, marina, restaurants and bars all within 100 metres. I visit Vilamoura three to four times a year and always use this hotel, I have used most of the others over the years but still prefer this one.

4*hotel worth your money
“Lovely Hotel - Excellent Location”
I found the hotel to be generally clean & friendly. The view from the balcony in my room was stunning looking out over the Marina and captured the sun right into the evening if you like to relax with a drink while getting ready to go out. Just a 1 minute walk and you are right on the Marina for the shops, bars and restaurants. The only downside of the hotel is that the pool does suffer from shady spots across the day, so if you're a pool/sunbed monster this may not be the hotel for you - however Vilamoura beach is 2 minutes away, and if you walk round the Marina in the other direction (15mins) you reach the start of a 5 mile beach which is absolutely stunning and I thorougly recommend you take this walk. I only ate breakfast at the hotel, but there was plenty of choice. The bar in the evening has entertainment nightly, some good, some bad, but you make your own choices.

We have stayed at the Gale Marina before and eveything was as we remembered and hoped. Polite, helpful staff, excellent breakfasts and comfortable, clean rooms. Superb location. Hope to repeat next year.
“Excellent stay at this hotel”
Cannot complain about anything with this hotel. The only comment I would make is that I felt the staff could be a little more interactive with the guests but, given that it is a 4 star (business type) hotel, their policy may be to have little interaction. We had a great holiday and would defininitely go back to this hotel.

Good hotel has good amneties, clean, good service in rooms, reception, bar and restaurant. Hotel in good position sea views from one side and marina views from other side. Located near beach, marina, shops and restaurants and golf courses. No need to go out of resort.
