“excellent all round”
excellent location, 10 minute walk to beach. several restaurants very close by, supermarket 5 minute walk. The strip for bars etc is 20 minute walk. old town is 1 euro on the bus or 3euros in a taxi Staff very friendly and helpful when booking excursions. Dario the day barman is very friendly, we bumped into him in Paradise bar on the strip and he looked after us well. pool is busy during day , but why go to pool when santa eulalia beach is so close, we just relaxed by pool with a sangria at about 5pm.
“Brilliant”
Very pleased, very clean smell of bleach,at all times through corridors so you felt as hotel was clean, staff very helpfull, and quick responding. Would use this hotel again.
“Basic but good”
Hotel is a basic hotel, but clean, comfortable and value for money. Rooms are well designed and worked well for us, a family of 4 with 2 teenage girls, being able to have private rooms. The bathroom being off the entrance hall. It is located in a good spot, close to Santa Eulalia beach, which is easy to walk to. The beach itself is good and safe for swimming. The hotel is close to the strip, which is about a 10 minute walk. Albufeira old town is a short taxi ride, though difficult to get a taxi back late evening in peak times. We had considered other hotels but glad we chose this one. Pool, gardens and bar okay, normal problems with sun beds. Evening entertainment was a little poor and wouldn't rely on it though okay if you wanted a quiet night. I would recommend this hotel
“Much better than I expected”
Good value for money.
“would definitely recommend”
We had an excellent week in this hotel. It was comfortable in an excellent location just minutes walk from the beach, and 10 minutes walk from the strip with a shuttle train to albuferia old town. There was a beautiful pool, which, in October is easy to find space around! and the staff were always friendly and full of advice and information. The only downside was the mould in the bathroom, and infrequent changing of towels. Other than that the rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. Apart from the bathroom the hotel was maintained inside and out beautifully. Made the perfect base for a relaxing week of autumn sun!
“Ideal base for touring around the Algarve area”
We used this hotel as a base from which to travel round the Algarve looking at potential areas that we might be interested in eventually living so it was simply a place to come back to at night. The apartments are clean and comfortable with pretty well all you need. The maids don't do the rooms on a Sunday and fresh towels are not supplied daily however. Cooking anything much would be a challenge as you only get a 2-ring electric hob and a small combi-microwave plus frying pan, a couple of pots and a teapot but plenty of places to eat out so not a problem. 4 place settings of crockery are supplied and toasters are available to rent as are an iron although we didn't bother with either. Deposits are required for a key to access the rear parking (essential) and also for remote controls for TV & Air Conditioning so have cash ready when you arrive! The general area is a bit like "Blackpool with sun", particularly The Strip which we drove down once but avoided visiting. The Old Town is nicer (see dining tips) and only a short drive away. Driving directions to the hotel are accurate but the same cannot be said for the map which shows it a few miles away. For those with SatNav the actual co-ordinates are N 37.08989, W 8.21935. All in all, basic but comfortable and good value for money.
“would go back again”
Clean friendly hotel.Room was quite large and very quiet.Located on the edge of town there are lots of very nice bars and cafe's close by.Ideal location.
“Excellent value for money”
Basic, but good hotel on the fringe of Albufiera. Indoor and outdoor pools, nice bar area, (live football on TV on offer). Good location, close to numerous restaurants and bars, with the nearest beach around a 10 minute stroll away. The "strip" is around 10-15 minutes walk, or a 3 euro taxi ride. Albufiera Old Town is around 7-8 mins by taxi. Clientele was mixed when we were there (March 07), mainly couples, and some families. We were in a Stag party, which seemed to be tolerated fairly well by the rest of the hotel guests!. Hotel staff are friendly and very helpful, and the place is generally kept clean and tidy. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel, as the cost was VERY reasonable for the facilities on offer, with the location being good for easy access to most of the resort area. Andy T.
“Can't wait to go back”
I was satisfied with the hotel but would appreciate if they can provide heater when it gets cold.
“OK, but don't expect the earth”
The rooms were basic, but they were fine for what we needed them for. There is only limited cooking facilities, but as long as you don't want to cook 3 course meals you will be fine. We had 6 of us using one of our rooms to eat breakfast and lunch in - Food in restaurants is cheap and we ate in a different one everyday and didn't have a meal we wern't happy with that you probably won't need to cook much anyway. We didn't use the bar, so don't know about that, the video games room seemed OK. The pools were not heated, so at easter they were a bit too cold to use, even the small indoor one. There isn't heating in the room so if it is chilly at night you will feel it. There is plenty to do within an easy walk, supermarket, beaches, shops & restaurants all 5 minutes away. It did for us as a base.

Albufeira, Portugal: The former little white fishing village of Albufeira, now densely developed beneath a sea of apartments and mid-rise blocks, is the regions most popular resort. The pretty Old Town is wall-to-wall restaurants and bars, though some local establishments and residential areas still remain. Its picture-postcard Fishermans Beach, with spectacular ochre cliffs and rock stacks, remains an iconic, albeit often very crowded, Algarve sight.
