“Will definitely be revisiting!”
We arrived quite late at night, the guy at reception was very friendly and informative, he gave us a map. Upon reaching our room we discovered it specified it was a non smoking room, implying that smoking rooms were available - had we been aware of this we would have requested a smoking room initially, however once we asked to switch rooms it was dealt with quickly and efficiently the next morning. Both rooms we stayed in were extremely comfortable and clean, we were particularly pleased with the lovely bathroom in the second, as well as the beautiful view as we were moved from the 5th to the 7th floor. The location was ideal, as it was just far enough out of the centre that cafes, coffeeshops and restaurants were slightly cheaper but close enough that areas such as the red light district or the nine streets are a short walk or a few tram stops away.
“Excellent base”
This hotel is far enough from the boisterous town centre to be fairly quiet, but central for all attractions - about the same distance from the red light district as from the museums. Staff are helpful, rooms are bright and clean, and the price is very reasonable. We have stayed here twice and would return without hesitation.
“Really nice hotel”
This hotel was one of the best I've stayed in at the price. the rooms were spotless and , in fact, they gave us their deluxe rooms at no extra cost. They included a super dooper shower and internet access etc. The staff were all really friendly - especially the reception staff. This hotel was very centrally positioned and I would not hesitate to use it again. The only down side was queuing for breakfast. If you can time it right there isn't a problem but if you get it wrong you can be forced to queue for some time. All in all you can't go wrong with this hotel.

The Albus hotel is an excellent place to stay. The staff is helpful and friendly. The best thing about the hotel is its location, close to everything. The price is reasonable and the location can not be beat.
“Great Location........Great Staff”
The front desk staff were outstanding. Room was very comfortable and spacious. Bathroom was perfect size, and very clean. The hotel is very close to the floating flower market and Rembrandtplein. A great place to spend a vacation to Holland
