The hotel's immediate neighborhood also has much to offer: restaurants, shopping streets, and walks along the waterways. Frankendael, a 17-century country estate with 2 gardens, is less than a 10-minute stroll.
Serving breakfast (hot and cold buffet), lunch, and dinner, Hotel Casa 400's restaurant is a popular choice for international cuisine, with a focus on seasonal fare. A covered dining terrace is open seasonally. Bar Upstairs serves cocktails, beer, tapas, and snacks.

Opened in September 2010, Hotel Casa 400 offers 520 modern guestrooms. Comfortable beds are 2.1 meters (almost 7 feet) long. Wireless and wired high-speed Internet access is complimentary. Flat-screen TVs come with a variety of interactive functionalities. Desks are extra-wide at 3.6 meters (11.8 feet). In-room safes can accommodate laptops. Compact refrigerators are provided, too. En-suite bathrooms come with showers.

“Hotel Casa 400 Very good”
I stayed for one night, this is a new hotel not far from the centre (10 minutes on the train). I found it first class very clean, the staff were very good as well.
“Near but far enough away”
The hotel was light, bright, airy and modern. The impression I got was that they tried to create an oasis of calm in the buzz that is Amsterdam. They were successful. I loved that the hotel is just outside of the city centre, far enough to lose escape the hustle and bustle but yet close enough to get to by bus. Just head over to Amstel Station, a 5 minute walk from the hotel, and hop on the number 59 bus that takes you straight to Centraal Station in about 20-25 mins.

Everything is just good and clean and the staff were very helpful! The restaurant's food is also amazing!!!
“Clean and modern with great transport links”
This hotel has a nice clean and modern atmosphere. The staff are also really friendly and very helpful with any enquiries. Although not in the centre of Amsterdam, the hotel is situated a 3/4 minute walk away from Amstel Station; one of the main stations in Amsterdam with a tram and metro line, making it incredibly easy to get to anywhere in the city in a relatively short space of time. My room was very comfortable with a really nice and clean bathroom. The complimentary wifi and internet was a bonus. The excellent transport links and very resonable price means I would definitely use this hotel again.
“Unbiased”
We were surprised with the quality of the facility. It was very clean and the staff was excellent to work with. The baggage hold on check out day was very convienent. Location is just outside city center but not difficult to get to with the train/bus station just across the road. Only negative is the surrounding area seemed a bit sketchy but as long as you don't cross the river I think it would be fine.

An interesting option if you don't mind getting the public transportation for a 10 min ride to Amsterdam Central. Modern look, clean and quiet.

The hotel is relatively new, with a nice, clean design. The location, although not necessarily walking distance to the city centre, is very convenient as there is a metro/rail/bus station a few minutes walk. Overall, a nice experience. Only downside is that the bedsheets could have been changed more often.
“Very nice hotel in Amsterdam”
Good location near Amstel station. the room was very nice. Air condition, refrigerator, free wifi. The only problem is with the expensive parking...
“Casa 400 positive review”
The hotel is very new and impressive. It has everything one wants and the price is very cheap given the luxury provided. However, it is a bit far from the city center, so you will need a train or bus to get there (15 min duration) and especially during the night, there is only a night bus every 30 min. However, I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, it was one of the best I have ever stayed.
