The Amsterdam Manor Beach Resort includes a freshwater outdoor pool and a children's pool. In addition to two restaurants, the resort offers a beach bar and upper-deck bar with sunset views.
A barbecue buffet and Caribbean cultural show (surcharge for European Plan guests) highlight Tuesday nights. Thursday nights feature a complimentary cocktail party for all guests. A mini-market sells groceries and sundries. Two computers and a laptop-computer station in the main building provide complimentary high-speed Internet access.
Rooms
This Aruba resort offers 72 guest studios and suites in eight 2- and 3-story yellow buildings (no elevators) styled like those in a Dutch Colonial village, with gables, dormer windows, and red-tile roofs. All studios and suites feature balconies or ground-floor patios with chairs and tables. Fully equipped kitchenettes are included. Guests enjoy complimentary wireless Internet access, and flat-panel TVs with cable channels. Ceiling fans and air conditioning provide cooling options.
Guests may choose from an All-Inclusive Plan (requires a 3-night minimum stay) or a Room-only (European) Plan.
All guestrooms are non-smoking.

Mango's - Casual open-air restaurant serving American breakfast buffets and à la carte dinners. Children's menu available. Some meals may not be served daily.

Sunset Upper Deck Bar - Second-floor open-air spot located above Mango's. Open evenings for tropical drinks, sunset views.

Recreation
Located across a narrow street from the Amsterdam's buildings, Amsterdam Manor's beach frontage measures 100 yards wide and 35 yards deep and features palm trees and thatched-roof shades. Freshwater swimming is available in a 50-by-25-foot pool and a children's pool. A jogging/walking path encircles the resort.
Use of mountain bikes, floats, and snorkeling gear is part of the All-Inclusive Plan. European Plan guests can rent this equipment. Independent operators elsewhere on Eagle Beach offer a wide variety of other watersports, including parasailing and personal-watercraft rentals.

“Great hotel!”
Hotel is a great place. short walk to nice beach. All the employees can't do enough for you. Beach has a bar and they will come and take your oder for lunch. Restaurant is good also!
“We'll be back here!!”
We are frequent travelers to Aruba and this trip was a celebration of our 25th wedding anniversary. We usually stay at another nearby resort. Everyone at Amsterdam Manor made us feel very special and welcome and the service was very personal and friendly--unlike the larger hotels. This is the place we definitely want to stay for our future trips. We recommend this hotel to all.
“Better than expected”
Went the week before Labor Day 2006. Its hard not to miss at night with all the lights. Great reception, was upgraded to a 2BR suite w/ jacuzzi when only booked standard studio. The room was wonderful with a patio overlooking the beach area. GREAT sunsets. The place was great and quiet. Perfect for relaxing and couples. The beach across the street wasn't crowded and had access to a Beach Bar (awesome bartenders and drink deals) and Waterskis. Easy free internet access. Food at the restaurant was acceptable. Great front desk service for helping confirm, make, or cancel reservations to restaurants, spas, or activities. Great recommendation for small snorkeling trip last minute and rental car service. Staff very friendly! Except when we had to stay extra night, would not let us use internet to book at another hotel. Had problems asking for a change in stay since our arrival was delayed. Good service ONLY when a guest.

“Best Resort for Peace & Relaxation!!!”
My Husband & I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary at AM. This was our first visit to the AM & to Aruba. The staff was extremely friendly & helpful upon arrival we were given a free bottle of champagne! The beach at this resort was the best beach on the Island! It was never over crowded like it was in the High Rise area. There was always an available lounge chair & the staff at Mango's Beach Bar was wonderful! Dinner at Passion's Restaurant on the beach was the most romantic place to eat in Aruba, & the great food was icing on the cake! We would return to this resort in a heartbeat & would recommend this resort to ANYONE looking for a relaxing beach vacation!
“Highly recommended hotel”
The staff couldn't have been nicer. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It is well suited to longer term stays because it had a fridge, stove, microwave, dishes. The pool and beach were great. Parking is free and you can park close to your room. We were kiteboarding so it was nice to be able to transfer the gear to the car and back. Free wifi worked well and was much appreciated by my teenage daughter. I had heard that cell phone calls were very expensive so we could communicate with family and friends using Skype and web texting. An in room safe was a plus. Complimentary beach towels very useful too.

Amsterdam Manor Beach is the perfect size and is perfectly located. The staff is amazingly friendly and accommodating. Amsterdam Manor Beach is located on the northern edge of Eagle Beach making it close enough to the high-rise area to enjoy the restaurants, but far enough for a quiet, relaxing vacation. The hotel is very comfortable. It's more personal than a large resort, but more comfortable and convenient than an Inn or Motel. The staff makes sure you have a good time without being pushy. Amsterdam Manor Beach has the best location of Eagle Beach and Machebo Beach. Other hotels are suffering from beach erosion, but it seems that the sand is being deposited in front Amsterdam Manor. The water is usually completely flat, but, on the few days there are waves, they're the calmest in front of Amsterdam Manor. It seems there is an umbrella for every guest. I've read how hotels on Palm Beach don't have enough umbrellas, so guest wake up early to reserve umbrellas. Completely unnecessary at Amsterdam Manor. Some days we wouldn't make it to the beach until the afternoon. There was always an umbrella available. Having the bus stop right in front of Amsterdam manor is unbelievably convenient for grabbing dinner in the high-rise district and for going grocery shopping both of which are only 5 minutes away.

This was our first trip to Aruba. I'm so glad we chose the low rise area and this hotel. The location was wonderful....the beach was close and not crowded. Buses to the downtown area and the high rise area made it easy to get around. Don't miss Happy Hour at Amsterdam Manor!
“I'd like to keep it a secret , but I have to admit this is a great place to stay.”
Staff are totally accommodating. Just be nice to them, and they will go out of their way for you. Very clean. Mattress was a little firm. We will ask for a topper next year. Beach is 10 yards from hotel. It is spacious and not crowded with plenty of palapas and lounge chairs.
“A place where staff treats you like a good friend”
We can not say enough nice things about our stay at AM. The staff was incredible and bent over backwards to provide ANYTHING we needed. We were addressed by name each time we saw anyone on the property. The accomodations were very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The kitchen was stocked well with everything needed to prepare a meal. Coffee maker, blender, toaster oven, lighter to turn the gas stove on, microwave, plenty of cooking pots, plates, wine glasses, dish towels, etc. They practive the "green philosophy", but will replace towels daily if needed. The Managers party was really fun with great entertainment, great conversation with staff and really cheap specials on drinks. The drinking water is fabulous. Do not buy bottled water. Cold water is available at the beach bar for free too.
