his is a very enjoyable hotel to stay at when in this area. At first its remote location is a problem; but, once you get to the hotel it is a benefit.
The staff is wonderful and the hot springs are great and very clean and relaxing to soak in. After we left to go to Sapporo, I discovered that I had left an old red jacket that is dear to me at the Starlight Hotel. The information center at Furano called the Starlight about the lost jacket and the next day it was delivered to our room at the Sapporo Grand Hotel. That is service that needs to be made known to whomever wants a hotel where the staff really cares about their customers.
One of old hotel connected with Ashibetsu Onsen. The buffet was wonderful and values more more than the cost. Kind staff but they done't speak English.
Hotel staffs are very friendly, only issue is they only speaks Japanese. However, they tried their very best to communicate with us. Nice Onsen, not so crowded. Have a session on star watching, only complaint is the session is not conducted in English. Room a bit small but very comfortable. We did not try any of their food as we only stayed for one night.
amenity is very good.

Great hotel with excellent surrounding
A great hotel overall. We checked in at night and had to eat at the hotel restaurant as there was no other choice given the hotel's remote location. Our dinner here turned out to be the best during the entire 5-day trip. The hot spring was excellent, rich in sulphur. Our only complaint is the old a/c that rattled all night. Maybe time for replacement.
