Simple, clean hotel. One minus you can hear walking if there is someone in the room above you. Than its super loud and annoying. But overall its a good exprerience.

All the front desk staff were amazing. Linnea, Ramon, Erica, Marwen and others were as friendly a crew as ever!! Be sure to have a bite to eat right next door at El Toro, Shaggy and his staff are phenomenal as is the food. Will definitely be back!!

The front desk agent tried to charge me twice for a deposit. The first time she charged me $200, then tried to charge me again for $100, but I questioned it so she caught her mistake. She also tried to get me to pay in full for my room at check in, even though it was already paid for online. She seemed like she didn’t know proper polices

Erika the Front desk was wonderful. Very courteous and helpful in our checkin. Staff is friendly and courteous too. Housekeepers are cheerful and ready to help , none were grumpy at all to assist.

I stayed here earlier last week and loved it! Had a room on the third floor, felt airy, spacious and peaceful with lots of natural lighting. When I stayed here the second time, I had the room on the first floor right next to the hot tub room and the entrances to the parking, etc. It was very loud as people would be passing by the room all the time (the noise even started earlier than 7am so it was hard to sleep), you can't really have the window open as people walking buy or hanging out in the parking lot could peer inside...Regardless, the staff were very friendly and the cable tea/fridge ammenities were appreciated

Irwin’s is a basic hotel to stay. Few things which made this trip not great: - room was first down the hallway from the front desk and window right to the parking lot allowing a lot of foot traffic and vehicle noise - cooling unit wasn’t working well, so the room was hot and stuffy when we got back. Thankfully a fan was provided. But the window didn’t have a screen on it, so didn’t feel very comfortable leaving it open as we were on the main floor - checked the bedding when leaving (to make sure we didn’t leave anything) and found food crumbs under the mattress cover (my bad I guess for not checking it before using it?). - small black mould spots on the shower ceiling starting to form The one nice thing is we were allowed to park early in the parkade before check in. And downtown is not too far of a walk. Too bad about the room though considering I’ve stayed quite a few times over the years. But it did the job and gave us a pricy place to stay.

Fantastic location in a great town. Breathtaking scenery all around. The hotel was absolutely fine, a bit dated and worn in places but perfectly clean, staff were excellent and nothing was too much bother. Would definitely reuse again.

We enjoyed our stay here very much! The staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was nice and spacious and had a great view! When we were ready to explore Banff, everything we wanted was within a short walking distance!

We were given a room with guests already there. We were promptly given a second room. The walls are so thin you an hear anyone walking by. Our room was by the outdoor patio and guests were blasting music past midnight. We called the front desk several times before anyone picked up. I probably slept six hours that night. Had to keep the bathroom fan on all night to sleep at all.

Irwin's was awesome.
We were given a wonderful upgrade. We are fortunate to stay in many different Hotels in Banff but also in other locations. We often find that our rooms are dry and uncomfortable. Irwin's was awesome.

Great location on main street. You can walk everywhere and there is a Roam bus stop right in front. Underground parking is nice. The room was clean, had what is needed and quiet.
