The Hampton Inn in downtown Baton Rouge is easy access and convenient to all things to do in the city. The riverwalk is a block away. The hotel is updated with large rooms and accessbile bathrooms. Beds are comfortable. Unfortunately, the fitness room was under repair during this stay (may 2024). There is free breakfast in the AM with coffee and the works. The parking is very convenient, but not free.

Great location near the River Cane Center. Parking lot available at the hote but a $20 daily charge . Area is quiet. At night have few restaurants and bars around. We ate at Cecilia’s around the corner and it was great! There is a nice walkway by the river too easily accessible from hotel .

We really enjoyed being able to walk right out to the river and view the bridge. Also Capitol Grill was within walking distance and was very good for dinner
