“Great location for the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square”
Great location and good accommodations for American tourists.
“GOOD LOCATION”
It was our first trip to Beijing and I couldn't have more pleased, the concierge staff were very friendly and helpful there english to be fantastic, the room were standard but very clean, they clean my room perfectil evertime, generous soft pillows, for good sleep experience. As first time visitors we wanted easy access to the major tourist sites, the hotel is on the main tourist shopping street and within 30 min. walk of Tiananmen sq. and the Forbidden city it was great to stroll directly from the hotel down the street to the bright lights and crazy night food markets, there is a subway station 20 min. away . There are very few faults with this hotel, we had a very comfortable stay and I would definitenly recommend it to tourist visitors who want to be close to the action.
“The Best Hotel in Wangfuying area”
Basically the Hotel is in a good location for shopping, sightseeing, restaurants and the rooms are well maintaine. Their Grill room has good steaks but they have only one choice of lamb and unfortunately not available. The Chinese restaurant was excellent. The coffee shop was very good and service was outstanding. Due to the long holiday, the cashier ran out of local currency to convert when we were changing our USD. Never the less, as for the Hotel facilities, it is quiet and clean.

“Pretty Good”
The entrance and lobby are unimpressive by the starndards of high end hotels, but the room, which is where you live, is excellent. We often walked from the Metro up Wangfujing to the hotel. Sometimes the walk was a little tiring. If you use the Metro and don't like walking, pick something a little closer to the Metro.
“Really good but too warm and dry”
The hotel was good, clean,very, very comfortable beds (firm with big soft pillows but you can request hard ones if you want) a convenient location to the main spots and decent enough breakfast. Problems were: breakfast was too expensive for what it was (but there aren't many other places to have breakfast except other hotels; the room was too warm even when it was -9 celcius at night and the heating turned off in the room. As Beijing is very dry at this time of year (visited in December 08) our skin and eyes felt terribly dry and uncomfortable and we tended to be very thirsty in the night.
“Great location in Beijing”
Comfortable hotel in great location. This is my "go to" hotel in Beijing due to its central location, access to restaurants. Walking distance to Tianamen Square and Forbidden City. Restaurant is open 24 hours makes coming and going very convenient and accomodating for early and late flights. I just wish they would update the bedding with softer, thicker mattress toppers.

“Good Hotel, Good Location”
Great location. The Hotel is plesantly located on the start of Orchard road. Plenty of good restaurant (Black Angus, Hard Rock Cafe, etc). Or you can go accross the street for local foods like noodles and chicken rice. Clean and reasonably priced. I particularly like the 24 hrs Mc Donalds with free Wifi access. Just 2 minutes walk from hotel. Room service is good. They clean my room perfectly evertime. I stayed there for 5 nights. Generous soft pillows, large soft bed, for good sleep experience, and dont forget ask for the room with balcony. I dont take the hotel's food, but you will not be running out of foods along the Orchard road.
“Great stay while visit Beijing”
Crowne Plaza Beijing has great location with public transport (bus at frontage of hotel and 10 mins to subway Dengshikou Station). The hotel is surround by many local food shops and super market. Walk distance to Wangfujing Dajie (walking mall) and Tian An Men Square. Hotel's room is very clean and standard room with 2 beds and sofa, chairs, good bathroom as well as friendly staff too.
