“Weekend in Belgrade”

Great location for seeing the sights, opposite Parliament. Rooms recently renovated and now working on common areas and frontage but didn't affect quality.

Great central location for tourist points, short taxi to financial district. 20/25 mins taxi to airport. Rooms renovated 2009, clean and comfortable, particularly bathrooms. Staff freindly and helpful. Breakfast basic, ok, but could be so easily improved. No hotel bar is a shame, without tea/coffee in room a nightcap is impossible. Recommended particularly for anyone wishing to explore the City - its a great base without fuss.

“A property returning to old pride”

Renovation now taking place will make this hotel truly great. Already the rooms are fantastic, the service is good, food is good, and soon the exterior as well as the reception, corridors and elevators will be great too. I will 100% return to this property - it is the most underpriced and underrated place I have stayed in a long while. Thanks! I will see you all soon again.

“Nice Hotel in Belgrade”

Comfortable hotel and everything was new and tidy. Comfortable bed.

“Belgrade Excelsior”

Other than the less than desirable choice of artwork, this hotel is a pretty good place to stay. The rooms are comfortable but the traffic is noisy. Breakfast was fabulous. The staff was wonderful to talk to and very helpful.

“dooooooooooooooooont do it, dont do it”

upon arrival they could not find our booking, we got a keys to a room where someone was already staying. Hotel under renovations, no sleep in as building work starts at 6;30-7;00am. some of the rooms have no view as you cant see out of the window. No information on what you could do once in Belgrade (beautifull city) they dont even provide you with a map, so you are on your own. Breakfast ok as long as you dont mind them watching you to see how much you eat. Local language helpfull as hotel staff (appart from couple of recepcion staff) dont speak English even though signs are also written in English as well as Serbian. rooms not overly clean, we got bathroom with shower over bath(bath had no plug -SO USELESS). If you're looking for place to stay thats central to everything and you dont want much sleep this is a place for you.

location is ideal. price is no value for money one day the room was not made up till we asked at 5 pm, the elevator reminds us of the parisien one person elevators. we didnot dare to go up with 2 people and suitcases. potentially the hotel is OK, but they still have to get used to the fact that they are now not anymore a state owned hotel. breakfast food was soso.
