The Best Western Lakeway Inn and Conference Center features two wonderful restaurants onsite. The Oboe Cafe serves all meals daily and features a delicious weekend brunch. Such plates include Pumpkin Bread french toast, a California Crab Omelette and much more! Room service is available to all rooms daily from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m and from 5 p.m.-10 p.m.
Also onsite is the local favorite, Poppes Bistro and Lounge. Voted Best Happy Hour by Bellingham Alive Magazine readers, Poppes features a variety of martinis and light fare in addition to a full dinner menu.
Recreation
An indoor pool, a children's pool, and a spa tub are on site. Other recreational amenities include a sauna and a fitness facility.

I will stay here again if I have occasion to overnight in Bellingham. Convenient location, comfortable room.

“Good place to stay in Bellingham”
Very hand hotel to stay in. Close to Interstate 5. Is right next to Fred Meyers which is handly place to pick up forgotten items. Straight "shot" down Lakeview and State Streets to downtown Bellingham.
“Best deal in Bellingham”
This place has a restaurant and a martini bar with a decent menu, a swimming pool, a basic workout room, and a hot tub, not to mention clean rooms - I highly recommend it. The only negative point is the service at the restaurant can be a little spotty. They are not very good at acknowledging their patrons as they wait to be seated, and it's never really crowded, so I don't know why they don't realize this.
“Oh my . . . .”
In town for a 5-8th grade boys basketball tournament - - on the same weekend as a drag queen pageant at the hotel. It was AWESOME!!

Difficult to find the driveway the first time ... keep looking - it's nice when you get there!

It was a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. Our room was big and very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the bar area.
“The only place we will stay in Bellingham from now on”
It was the only place with a room left, but from now on, we won't even look at another hotel. It's convenient in location, they've got a great pool, the service is excellent. The only complaint is cost, but I think it was worth it.
