“Perfect location, great value!”
Hotel located only 500 yds from station which is, in turn, a 10 min bus ride from the airport. It is situated in the Lower town in the main road which leads to the beautiful Upper City (20 min walk.) Staff friendly & helpful. Rooms fairly small but very modern and clean. I could not think of a better location to stay in Bergamo.
“Total comfort for tired visitors”
This hotel is three minutes from the ralway station in the modern part of town but totally accessible to everything. The bus service to the upper mediaeval town (for which a 24 hour travelcard for 2.5 euros is available) is excellent and the major art galleries are within easy reach. The hotel itself is quiet and a pleasure to be in and the reception staff are very helpful. It could be anywhere, but if it's a shower which works and great air conditioning which you want, then this is the place for you.
“Does what it says on the tin!”
Great location - only a few minute walk from the main train/bus station. Rooms were modern, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was not included in our stay, so I cannot comment on the food. However, there are a number of lovely restaurants/bars/cafes near by. Good value.
“Excellent distance from the station.”
We were only in the hotel for one night on our way home from Verona and we were delighted to find the hotel so close to the railway station.It was only a short walk and from there we could get a bus to Bergamo Alto which was really lovely.It was cool, clean and comfortable and the receptionist was extremely polite and helpful!

Excellent hotel - good location just 200 meteres from railway station and in main shopping district. Good value for money. Easy to find location. Reastaurant/bar not used so can not comment.

This hotel was everything I expected from the reviews I had read previously. Great position, very comfortable room, spotlessly clean, superb buffet breakfast, friendly staff.
“Style and convenience”
This is a great hotel for location. It is close to the train and bus stations but on the main thoroughfare leading up to the funicular going to the historic Old Town, where most of the attractions are. The rooms were spacious and well-decorated. The hotel staff were friendy and professional. I should certainly stay here again were I to return to Bergamo.
“Excellent Stay”
We stayed for four nights at this hotel in mid-June 2007 and would echo the postive comments about this hotel. Our room was a good size, very clean and very quiet. We were located away from the road side and didn't hear anything from outside or inside the hotel. We found the staff to be helpful and friendly and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was very good. A short walk from the railway station and about 10 minutes to the funicular to the old town. Alternatively take the 1A bus for a trip to the old town. Either way the old town is very easy to reach. We loved Bergamo and it is a good base from which to explore other towns cities and, of course, the lakes. We would certainly return to Bergamo and stay at this hotel again.
“GOOD VALUE.”
For a short break in Bergamo this was ideal. Spacious accommodation with twin beds. Tea / Coffee in room. Half way between train station and the Funicolare to Citta Alta. Recommend you fly with JET2 from Leeds, and then bus from airport to station. Eat in restaurant at top of funicolare. Lovely.
