“Perfect for the price.”
I visited Berlin in December and stayed here for six nights to sight see the metro area. Great location with access to public transportation and one street off the main (formerly) western sector avenue...which allowed for a quite nights sleep at the end of the day. The room was spartan but extremely clean, bright, and quite. Couldn't ask for a friendlier staff. I didn't eat breakfast as I thought that 15 euro was too high...but there are plenty of restaurants; lounges, markets and coffee shops to eat at in the area. For this price range; I could hardly think of how to improve on it. Hassle free!!
“Fantastic hotel in a fantastic location”
This hotel is situated in within walking distance of a bustling centre, several underground train stations, and some really nice, reasonably priced restaurants. The rooms were very nice and the staff were very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
“Unique oasis in Berlin!”
My husband and I booked this hotel as the first stop on our European vacation. It was a gem and uniquely decorated a la Andy Warhol. the staff checked us in quickly, held our luggage, gave excellent suggestions on restaurants, and even offered to charge my husband's iPhone. The hotel is about 4 blocks from the subway and Hard Rock Cafe. There is a Harley Davidson shop right across the street and a ton of restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is located in West Berlin, we spent most of the time on the east side, but it was never more than a 15 minute subway ride away. My only complaint is that we didn't stay longer! If we ever make it back to Berlin we will definitely be staying here!
“Art'otel 12-16 April 2012”
This is a superb modern hotel, either recently developed or completely modernised. It was spotlessly clean, with a good-sized room, a large, comfortable, king-sized bed and good modern decor with comfortable and well-designed easy chairs, good shower and washroom and tea/coffee making facilities. The Art'otel chain is good - the one in Budapest is also excellent. This hotel is very well situated near the Ku'damm and Uhlandstrasse underground UBahn station, with a good, simple, very reasonably-priced Italian restaurant - Levante - on the corner 200 metres away to the right on leaving the hotel on the same side of the road, and supermarkets in Uhlandstrasse. It was excellent value for money. The staff were very helpful. We did not eat in the restaurant- there are snack bars and restaurants nearby. Berlin is well served by UBahn and buses to all the main sights, galleries and museums. Lunch at the top of the KDW store on the Ku'damm is recommended. 3 days advance notice by internet is necessary to visit the Bundestag.
“Really great hotel”
Stayed for 3 nights; clean, bright, fresh hotel. Helpful staff. Little noisy with building work next door but the hotel was really good value (bathrobes slippers etc supplied, lots of toiletries etc). Would definitely stay here again.
“Lived up to all expectations”
The hotel was spotlessly clean and well maintained and very well situated for transport facilities to the sights and also close to shops restaurants and bars.
“Review Title”
Excellent position being a very short walk from Ku'dam and transport system and, although it is on a large road, this appears to have very little traffic. Limited car parking but on street (paid) parking available. Decoration is fantastic and well worth staying at the hotel for. Breakfast is a little pricey compared to other opportunities nearby.
“ENJOYABLE STAY”
A pleasant small hotel just one street off the Ku'damm, friendly staff good buffet breakfast and very handy for transport or walking around the city and to and from the airport
“Quality at Great Value”
A very nice hotel at a reasonable price, interesting decor and furniture adds real character. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended hotel.
