“Excellent hotel, lovely people.”
A fantastic place to stay - the rooms are spacious and comfortable, and it's easy to get around. The hotel staff were really helpful.

good location next to U Bahn and with trams and busses too. Excellent breakfast choice. Very helpful staff. Rooms very generously sized with good facilities and high standards of cleanliness. Just like having your "own" private apartment in Berlin
“Fascinating city”
Easy to find on public transport (50m from U-Bahn 6 & Tram right outside). Very spacious well equipped room, good breakfast, walking distance from all major sights. The whole family enjoyed it thoroughly. Would stay again willingly.

“Great place to stay”
Second visit to HSH,Mitte, following a great time a year ago. The location, very close to Zinnowitzerstrasse Ubahn is ideal for getting quickly to anywhere in Berlin. Short walk leads to Oranienburger Strasse with its many restaurants bars theatres and onwards to Friedrichstrasse and Checkpoint Charlie and so much more. Be sure to go up the Fehrnseturm (TV Tower) and see the circular view of Berlin from 600 feet up. Order the headset to hear commentary and full explanation of the sights before you on each of the 19 viewing areas around the tower. This is the best way to see and learn everything about Berlin and its history. The HSH apartments are very big with full kitchen facilities and largelounge with DVD. radio and cd player. The bedrooms are also large and comfortable. If you are at the streetside of the hotel there is an enclosed balcony with comfortable chairs and a table and a great view along Invalidenstrasse. If you are at the back the view is of the garden, very nice indeed. There is a fitness area for those feeling energetic and free use of computers in the hallway. The staff here are very welcoming and helpful, amongst the best I have ever encountered. Breakfast is very good with great German bread and rolls and meats. Hot food is egg served in various styles and there is a good choice of juices yoghurts etc. When in Berlin this is where I will stay, for sure.

This is a very well maintained, beautiful hotel. We were very impressed by the service and efficiency of the hotel staff.The location is central to everything and the breakfast was very good. We would love to stay there again!
“Ideal Family Base”
With Berlin's fantastic transport system you are 5 minutes away from the centre by tram or U-bahn. The appartement was spacious and comfortable. My only criticism is the lounge furnishings were a little grubby - cleanliness elswhere was fine - so if these were cleaned there would be no faults. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, two sitting rooms, large hall and adequate kitchen.

“Very convenient and comfortable hotel”
This hotel is situated in the old east part of Berlin and if you are interested in seeing that part of the city is absolutely ideal as most of the sights and museums etc. are within walking distance, (I didn't need to take the ubahn for the whole of my stay). The facilities are great - sauna, gym, and you can live cheaply if you cook for yourself in the well equipped kitchen (although it is not expensive to eat out in that area). The ensuite was Massive!! with two showers and the serviec was friendly. I would definitely go back there.
“Absolutely one of the best hotels ever”
Absolutely one of the best hotels ever. No door men (I like that) but instead plenty of room and comfort - really just like home; staff amazingly helpful and always smiling. Breakfast is a feast. I can not say enough about this place.
