“Absolutely Loved this Hotel”
When you arrived to the hotel you are greeted by a monopoly looking man who is very nice and assigns a bell boy to grab your bags and take them up to your room after you check-in. Once you proceed inside you will be in awe because this hotel is so beautiful and classy. Once you approach the check-in desk you will be greated by the nicest and most professional staff. We were greeted by Ana and the hotel primary manager David who would later be such a big help with all our questions(like typical tourist). When we checked-in David upgraded our room at no charge and we didn't even have to ask. Guest can be sure to feel safe here because your room key has a chip which is neccessary if you will like to use the elevator to go up any level. Every room has two little lights and one door bell button at the front door and one light means to not disturb when you turn it on from inside the room adn the other is to have you room cleaned. They greet you every morning with a morning paper or your preferred language. Also they open doors for you and set up your food if you order room service. Over all it is a hotel you have to experience for yourself, as for me I was really satisfied and would definitely go back.
“Exceptional service in the heart of Berlin”
(wrong rating entered on earlier review - have asked Expedia to correct this as its all 5's from us) We stayed at the Adlon in September 2009 and were very impressed by the attentive service and friendly staff as well as the lovely facilities. The Adlon’s outstanding repuation is well deserved. The hotel is located in the heart of Berlin within easy reach of business facilities and tourist attractions, adjacent to the historic Brandenburg gate. While the Adlon has all amenities one expects of a first class hotel, the attention to detail is what places it above the competition: the concierge remembered us by name; our request for a late check-out given a long flight home was accomodated without fuss, although the hotel was fully booked; travelling with a baby we were located in a quite part of the hotel - where the baby was not disturbed and would not disturb other guests; a baby-bath robe complete with rabbit ears was provided in the room. If you are able to, do stay at the Adlon - and enjoy the wonderful experience.
“Hoping for a second visit in 2011.”
As above.
“The place to stay in Berlin”
We can't say enough good things. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are super, the lobby bar/lounge is impressive, the outdoor cafe out front on Unter den Linden is a 1000% nicer than than the "famous" Cafe de la Paix in Paris, the French/Continental restaurant is superior, and, last but not least, the buffet breakfast is outstanding and worth every Euro !
“Stylish Berlin”
Incredible stay at the Adlon. Best hotel I ever stayed in. Great staff and fascinating rooms and spa.
“Grand Hotel--for real!”
We chose the Hotel Adlon based on its excellent reviews and we found them all to be true. The hotel is beautiful, really a work of art; the staff is wonderfully friendly and helpful, anticipating one's every need; the rooms are beautifully designed and appointed, the public areas are stunning; the pool and jacuzzi are a delight; the Quarré restaurant is excellent. It IS expensive and the breakfast buffet, while fabulous, is extremely pricey, but definitely worth a visit if you can afford it. It is a wonderful place to be, with a fascinating history--do watch the film about the history of the hotel, available on the hotel TV. We will be going back.
“Best Hotel in Berlin”
We absolutely loved our stay here, this hotel is truly the best in town! 5 star treatment from all staff, comfortable luxurious rooms with beautiful bathrooms, the complimentary use of the spa is heavenly and just the ticket after a busy days' exploring, the lounge is beautiful and a lovely place to sit and read or sip a (fairly expensive but delicious) cocktail. If you fancy a bit of a treat and some serious indulgence, you cant do better than this hotel. Completely faultless.
“Fabulous!!!”
Every I expected and more. Location, Room, Staff and Service A+. What a perfect spot to explore Berlin either on foot or train which is out the front door. I could rave about the room "blah blah blah", take it from me, the junior suite was superb, try the steam button for the shower. No mold, dirt or dust in this hotel, they detailed the room 2 times a day during my stay. It was by chance that my stay coincided with the Berlin Film Festival, Berlin was booked solid. Met some awesome people, having a key to the Adlon was a lot of fun. Kudos to the concierge, he took time in the midst of a very busy day to correct a bad phone number my father had written down, 10 minutes of sleuthing and a few phone calls made it right.
“Superb Hotel”
The Hotel Adlon Kempinski is located next to the Brandenburg Gate, a prime location. Our stay at the hotel was superb. All the staff were helpful and always ensured our stay was comfortable. Our room was fantastic. The hotel is beautiful, elegant, charming all at the same time. We would definitely stay at the hotel again and would not hesitate to recommend.
“Excellent World Class Hotel and Location”
We could not have been more satisfied. Truly a pleasure!
