“Favorite Hotel in Berlin”

It would be hard to beat the Regent for the best hotel to stay at in Berlin. My room was spacious, wireless access was free, and the location was great (unless you prefer to be near West Berlin shopping). It is a formal hotel--with a backpack tossed over my shoulder, I felt a bit "rough"--but that formality means terrific service. One night I was trying to tanslate a german article that I was reading, and I didn't have a German / English dictionary. The hotel staff found one for me (all bookstores were closed) and brought it to my room! Note also that if you want a good workout, visit Holmes Place a few blocks away. They have a pool and plenty of equipment. It costs 15 Euros for a day pass.

“Great hotel, great location”

Everything about the hotel exuded quality and excellence. The staff take a pride in providing excellent service no matter whether they are on reception, in the restaurant or cleaning the rooms. The location is ideal for sightseeing and is surrounded by shops and restaurants if you do not want to splash out in the Michelin starred restaurant. The quality of the food is first class although expensive so it is worth looking at the surrounding restaurants where excellent meals can also be obtained at a fraction of the price.

“The Regent Berlin is wonderful!”

The location is fabulous. Ran across the street for a concert at the Concerthaus. Steps away from terrific restaurants. Breakfast was lovely as was all the staff. And I felt like a 1940s film star in my room and the cocktail lounge. Very much looking forward to returning.

“Extremely good!!”

Hotal beautiful. Room was big. Comfortable double (big!)bed. White gowns and slippers to wear. Nice personal touches. Cleaned daily. Located very close to the main square. Only downside was that the breakfast was not included - very expensive - but some lovely cafes nearby with tables outside. Berlin is well worth a long weekend.

“Loved this hotel”

Wonderful old world hotel in the center of Berlin's Mitte district. Within walking distance of Unter den Linden, the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag, the Dom and Museum Island. Easily accessible to all public transportation. The rooms were quiet, and the staff couldn't be more helpful. We loved this hotel and would highly recommend it.
