“Good hotel, recommended, very good value for money”
Very clean and new , room is very comfortable, but tiny. Ideal for 1-2 nights.
“Perfect functional hotel”
Nite Nite is an excellent value, functional hotel. The bedrooms are the size of the bed - literally. Plus a small shower room. There's no space in them, but if you're looking for a hotel to crash in for the night then it's comfortable and clean and has a 42-inch plasma above the double bed. Definitely not for a romantic break but for short work trips, it does the job perfectly.
“Brilliant - 1 minute walk from the ICC”
It might not be everyone's cup of tea - no window, small - but that was exactly what I needed!! A cosy little pod-like room, very clean and tidy, and right down the road from the ICC, and 5 minutes walk from Birmingham New Street Station. Excellent position and friendly staff. Would definitely stay again.
“ideal”
if you're looking a for a place to sleep thats clean, quiet and warm and you're on your own, then this is perfect.location fairly good (perfect for the ICC).breakfast in the cafe next door good too.highly recommended but be under no illusion, the rooms are small!
“Clean, cozy, and stylish”
I didn't think I'd be able to manage without a window, but I loved my little pod room. It had everything I needed for a one-night stay, it was sparkling clean, and the bed was very comfortable with good quality linen. I'd heard that the hotel could be noisy, so I brought ear plugs, but I didn't need them, everything was very quiet. I slept well and the automated 'wake up call' turned on lights and music at the allotted time. I loved the 'wet room' - great idea, I don't know why so many hotels bother with pokey shower stalls. My only suggestion for improvement would be better lighting over the make-up mirror please! A tiny perfect and inexpensive solution for business travellers.
“Great value quirky hotel”
We stayed at nitenite as we were going to a gig at the NIA. The hotel was in a great location to be able to walk to the NIA and nearby bars and restaurants on Broad Street, as well as being only a short walk to the shops in the city centre. The staff were friendly and helpful and check-in was easy. Our room was nice and clean, although a little cold, but we really liked the quirky japanese-style use of space and the shower was fab. It was a bit noisy at night as you could hear other guests returning to their rooms but I would expect that in most city-centre hotels and it wasn't a major problem. The next day we had breakfast downstairs which was spot-on. Overall we felt the hotel was excellent value for money and a great location to access the main attractions of Birmingham.
“A business hotel for the discerning traveller.”
Pros: Friendly staff Central location, just 5 minutes away from the Birmingham Rep, the concert hall and New Street rail station. Comfortable bed Excellent power shower Extremely clean Cons: No windows in your room. The widescreen TV is too 'in your face' to be comfortable when you're lying in bed. The vending machines on the landing were broken. Not for the claustrophobic. Continental breakfast at on-site cafe is too expensive in relation to what you get for your money.
“Would love to stay again”
Compact and bejou but very comfortable and clean, everything you needed for an overnight stay.
“Fabulous !”
Couldn't recommend this hotel higly enough. The welcome was warm, friendly and relaxed. The room had everything I needed and was very clean. The staff in the restaurant/coffee shop were excellent - nothing was too much trouble - wuld have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone choosing a short break in Birmingham.
“would happily stay at nitenite again”
If you are claustrophobic you may want to look elsewhere, if you imagine 2.5 double beds, that’s about the size of the room and wet room combined. Otherwise it’s a small windowless room which you’re told about in advance so can’t really complain about it as some people seam to have. Saying that, its great, just what you need when staying over for a night or three, if there is two of you, so long as you like being intimate its fine, pointless sharing tho if your not but at there prices you can grab two rooms :) The complementary Wi-Fi, water and movies are great too, and if you do want to see the outside world you can use the 42” plasma tv with a link to the rotating webcam on the roof. If it looks dull out you can easily switch to a movie and chill with a cuppa using the facilities in the room. The café/bar within the same development is not bad, not the cheapest place in the world but being 3 minutes from Broad Street there are tons of alternative places you can eat :)
