"I was only staying for one night. Friendly greeting on arrival. All the public areas were fairly modern and well kept. There was good service and food in the bar I used and the prices were reasonable. The single room I had was very clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. There is hotel parking at a cost but I used the public carpark at the top of the road. ( I can imagine parking might be a bit more difficult in the really busy season.) "Hotel.com didn't process booking correctly luckily Richard the owner phoned me and informed me and sorted it out over phone so our weekend wasn't ruined. If your expecting the Ritz go somewhere else if you want cheap clean and comfort go to the aysgarth hotel. Location is perfect 2 minute walk to beach or central pier. Owners couldn't do enough for you will definitely go back there again."

"We were a group of soul music fans on a get together to take in the northern soul weekend at the tower ballroom. We have stayed at the " fairway" a few times before, it is clean, tidy,easy accessable and you always feel welcome, we will be booking again next year. Those needing a "secure car park" we use the park on Charnley road, £15 for 72 hours (November 2021)"

"Never seen any one on a night time, bar and pool table room never opened. Beds were never made up. On suite very small Had to keep asking for top up of tea and sugar. bathroom door would not shut properly had to bang it shut which would wake you up on a night. many more things to mention but don;t have time."

A very comfortable stay.
"I was only staying for one night. Friendly greeting on arrival. All the public areas were fairly modern and well kept. There was good service and food in the bar I used and the prices were reasonable. The single room I had was very clean and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. There is hotel parking at a cost but I used the public carpark at the top of the road. ( I can imagine parking might be a bit more difficult in the really busy season.) The area around the hotel is a little run down in places but don't let that put you off. You can probably walk to the promenade in about 6 minutes with everything it has to offer. I would be very happy to stay at the Ruskin again."
