“A Nice Respite!”

I visited the Park in the middle of a hectic 7 week business trip out of the USA and enjoyed the understated elegance, service and spa. What I needed was quiet and a way to rejuvenate myself which the hotel fully offered. Staff was graceful and accommodating. The food was great and whatever was NOT on the menu WAS also available! I chose to eat in my room alot, but staff in the restaurant was willing to accommodate a non-smoker by setting up an area away from the smoke, which isn't usually the case in Germany. The gym had the latest modern equipment; the spa was never crowded and had many different types of sauna's steam rooms and a whirlpoo. The outdoor heated pool entered from inside the spa when it was 28 degrees outside was super. The hotel sits on the edge of a large lake and park, so even in the dismal northern European winter the view was wonderful. I would go back.

“Highly recommended for business travel and or senior travellers”

Used the hotel as a stop-over for our ongoing trip to Norway. As we are travelling as a family with 3 kids(9, 7 and 2), you need to get 2 rooms. Rooms are classic, but A+. Hotel has a pool, but is small, outdated and used mainly by seniors who want to do there daily laps. The pool is not easy to find and you need the directions of the staff. Staff is very friendly and helpfull. We had diner in the hotel restaurant, which was excellent and is kid friendly. Would probably stay there again, but not with the kids. Hotel is kid friendly, but we noticed that the visitors are mainly over 50.

“Not much for the price”

Elevator did not work Had to go up a floor and then down 3 floors to room Door to parking lot right outside of room was locked so we had to walk 5 min to get to car Service was good and room was clean, but just not worth the price.
