“good enroute overnighter”
Clean and comfortable. Lots of breakfast choices!
“It was ok for an overnight stay”
My husband had stayed here before and had a meeting at this place so he suggested we stay there again. The breakfast area was nice and neat and the girls were very friendly in helping us out with the food and coffee.
“Good value”
This is good value for the money. It's not a 5 star but it was clean, comfortable and in good repair. I like the proximity to the lake. It wasn't that easy to find and our GPS couldn't locate it.
“Needs an update”
The hotel was clean, the size of the room was a bit small. The complimentary breakfast was enough for us, nothing special. Very close to the water, nice area for walks.
“Good roadtrip hotel with an outdoor pool”
Stopped here for a layover on the Montreal. The hotel is simple but clean. There is a great outdoor pool (e.g. summer time only) - large and with a deep end. The kids had a great time playing in the pool
“Great and Inexpensive stay.”
When ever we are planning to sleep on our way to Quebec, this is where we stop. The rooms are clean and quiet. The hotel sit by the St Lawrence river in a quiet neighborhood. It's about 2km south of the 401 but it's worth it. They offer a complimentary breakfast in their lounge. Pancakes, hard eggs, bagels, toasts, fruits, cereals, coffee and more. In the summer, they have the outdoor pool waiting for you. It's great to take some of those travelling wrinkles off...=D and a great way to start the day. For a longer journey, I would probably rent something closer to the 401 because of all the amenities that are closer, like gasoline, restaurants, shopping mall. For us, we've been stopping there since 3 years any time of the year and are always satisfied. Great and inexpensive stay.
“Nice motel”

“Good staff Dirty room!”
This hotel is not close to where it should be for a Best Western. Dirty, stained carpets, spiders in the room. Squished bugs on the walls and overall dusty. I expected much more from a Best Western. The front desk staff however was very helpful and friendly and the continental breakfast was good.
“Poor condition and unclean”
The hotel room was not really that clean. The bathroom was dirty and the shower had no pressure. The weatherstripping was pulled away from the door, so the wind rattled and whistled through it all night long, keeping us awake and cold. The internet was for one computer only, but there were two of us who needed to work; so one of us was not able to get work done. The duvet cover had stains on it and looked like it had not been washed; there were no sheets so we had to use it or freeze. Check out was really early, 11:00am; this was inconvienient and we did not want to pay for the added time. Continental breakfast was too early, so we did not have the opportunity to partake.
“Brockville needs a decent hotel.”
We had booked a King Room but they only had a twin room. We checked the alternative proposed; the room was dingy, dirty and, above all smelled of damp so we cancelled our reservation and stayed elsewhere.. Ghastly!
