“An excellent and romantic stay”
A true boutique hotel, full of charm with delightful touches in the decor and the service. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.
“Second visit of many”
This was our second visit to Orangerie, and it probably will not be our last. The staff cannot do enough for you; the rooms are great, and the breakfast was well worth the charge.
“It's Better in Bruges”
If you are looking for an extra special get away, head off to Bruges and stay at the wonderful Hotel De Orangerie! This fabulous boutique hotel is ideally located on a charming canal in the heart of this incredible city. From the moment you walk thru the door, you realize you are in for a special treat. Drinks by the fireplace, afternoon tea or a luxurious breakfast in the diningroom are just the tip of the iceberg! The knowledgeable staff are delightful and go out of their way to make your stay memorable. You really should add this hotel to your list of things 'To Do' for 2008!
“Magical Bruges”
All the staff at the hotel were really welcoming and accommodating. I would highly recommend the buffet breakfast, it was a gorgeous selection of breads, pastries, fish, cured meats and cheese - i was in heaven. We booked a charming double which was wonderfully furnished with antiques and the bed was extremely comfortable. Super clean aswell. The whole hotel has beautiful antiques everywhere yet it still managed to maintain a relaxed atmosphere. It is centrally located and easy to find yet it is amazingly tranquil inside. It was absolutely idyllic especially it was our honeymoon. We absolutely can't be too positive about the hotel - it was absolutely fantastic and worth every penny.
“M & J July 2011”
Excellent service, the staff made us very welcome and nothing was to much trouble.
“Tremendous Character with great service”
The location was fantastic, 100m from the central square. Only 20 rooms with great charm and character. The breakfast room is fantastic and the bar was a great place to relax. The bathroom lacked a proper shower which is the one minus point.
“Unique Experience not to be missed”
We split our stay between Martin's Realis and the Orangerie. Both are wonderful hotels in converted antique buildings, situated on canals and centrally located. The Orangerie is our favorite. It is elegant and lovely. From the moment you enter the lobby you are in a different time and place. Modern ambiance integrated with old world elegance. Our junior suite on the canal side was so special that we wanted to extend our stay but the room was booked. We were able to see two other rooms one on the canal and one facing the inner court yard and they were both unique and special as well leading us to think that there probably aren't any rooms that aren't consistant with the overall feel of the hotel. The breakfasts were outstanding with champagne flowing which just seemed natural to the lovely setting. We travel a lot this is a must do if you enjoy European elegance on an intimate scal
“Extreamly Impressed”
Excellant Hotel To Stay
“Nice hotel in a good location”
The hotel is located close to the centre but can be difficult to reach by car. Rooms are clean and nicely decorated but no shower curtain means the bathroom gets flooded. There is a nice log fire by the bar and the staff are attentive. There is no dining room but some very good restaurants nearby. Breakfast is excellent.
“Cosy and friendly!”
Superb friendly service with all the finishing touches you would want from this warm, comfortable hotel. The location is perfect, right at the heart of all the action: just step out and you are at the doors of all the shops and restaurants. Yet the rooms are all very quiet. We particularly enjoyed sitting in the "bar" which is more like a lounge with its open roaring fire and friendly staff. We didn't try the beakfast because it is rather costly but I can imagine it would fit the standards of the place and it's been rated "best breakfast in Belgium"!
