“Southern Comfort! Great Breakfast!”

Spent one night here in a squeaky clean and very spacious room. Not a speck of dust to be found! The towels were nice and thick and the shower powerful. The breakfast was amazing with more variety than you could imagine! There wasn't much you could crave for breakfast and not find here.

The hotel was very nice, the only complaint is the pillows were only half size and was very difficult to sleep with them, other than that the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, the place was very clean! I would stay there again.

Nothing bad to say about hotel, HOWEVER, they do need more than 2 luggage carts for visitors to use, especially on holiday weekends. Much too long of a wait to try and get one to use, had to carry all luggage up and down which amounted to 4 trips each!

“Nice Hotel”

I had a large room with a sofa and two beds. The room was clean and the beds were pillow topped and very comfortable. The only thing I disliked was that it was a a non-smoking hotel, but when I took my daughter(8) to the pool there were two ashtrays sitting by the pool and cigarette butts all over the place.

Good location to Southport. Very good resturants in close proximity. Very comfortable beds and linen. Not good for having meetings in room. To small and only one chair. Work environment in the room is very good, however, free internet that worked well. Would stay again.

“Nice hotel in a good location”

The rooms are spacious and clean. Staff were friendly and gave us recommendations for restaurants for dinner. The hotel is quiet even though it is located on a main road. It is a short drive to the beach and to the village of Southport. It is a good value for families as it serves hot breakfast with lots of variety. We travel with our pet and the hotel is definitely pet friendly.

Bathroom fan makes extremely loud noise on start-up, but otherwise stay was excellent.

“Ok for a Pitstop”

The Comfort Suites in Southport was an okay hotel to lay your head at night but not much more. It was way overpriced but because its holiday season and not may hotels, it makes sense. My one grievance were the pillows. The pillows were extremely small and too soft. My husband and I woke up with sore necks and backs. It would be good to have larger pillows or plenty small ones. Otherwise, hotel was clean, fast service, and again, a good place to crash after a long day at the beach. The breakfast was good and quick and the woman overseeing the cafeteria was very pleasant.
