"This was a lovely modern hotel right on Swansea beach. The staff were lovely and really helpful when we arrived and very friendly. Any issues were sorted quickly. The bed was comfortable and we had plenty of space in the room. Would have preferred a walk in shower rather than a shower over the bath, but despite that, it worked well. Very clean. Also loved being near the beach so that we could easily have a nice walk on the Sundays before going home."

"HOTEL JUST OUT TO THE EAST OF SWANSEA CENTRE, A BUS RIDE AWAY WITH FREQUENT SERVICES. HOWEVER THE No51 BUS, EVERY 20MINS IS A 5MIN WALK TO THE HOTEL, FROM FABIAN WAY PARK & RIDE. THIS WAS NOT FOUND OUT TILL THE DAY OF DEPARTURE. A GOOD IDEA WOULD BE TO SHOW THE No51 BUS DETAILS IN THE RECEPTION AS OTHER SERVICE BUS STOPS DROP OFF NO WHERE NEAR THE IBIS; WEATHER WAS BAD, RAIN RAIN & MORE RAIN ALL FREE !! "Although very slightly a little old fashioned it was excellent. The main asset of this hotel is the staff as every single person we met with was very friendly, courteous and efficient. Probably suits the more mature clientele, which is us, and the entertainment in the evening most likely would get through the auditions on Britain’s Got Talent but this is more than made up for by the staff and delicious food especially breakfasts. "

"Ample for what we paid. All working & fit for purpose, though I have trouble with stairs & being on the 2nd floor was a bit of a job as the lift wasn't in action. The sprinkler was hanging off the ceiling, but didn't effect our stay. Quite a noisy room, being directly above the moving bollard but luckily I brought my earplugs so didn't bother me too much."

"Really enjoyed my stay at the Tower hotel and spa, the staff are super friendly and efficient and the food is delicious I had the roast lamb dinner both nights of my stay because it was so delicious, I didn’t sleep very well on my first night in the tower and mentioned this to a lovely lady who worked in the restaurant and in no time at all they moved me to another room, nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely be returning. "

"Excellent stay with a twin room overlooking the golf course. Great location for Mumbles. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. It would be good if the room had full blackout blinds or curtains as the room got the sun very early in the morning and lit the room up even with the blinds closed. Would have liked a slightly bigger towel but that’s being very picky. The best thing about the stay was the breakfast - it was really nice with lots of choice. I would definitely stay here again. "

Popular with locals so had a nice atmosphere, but by 10.30pm the crowds had gone and we had a quiet night's rest. Ideal for Wales Coast path walkers."
