“Exceptional location and service”
I stayed at Congress Hall for one night and I wish I could have stayed longer. The hotel is charming and the staff provided great service and they were very friendly. The hotel is located in front of the water and has breathtaking views. My room was well-appointed and very cozy. I will definitely visit again.
“Awesome place”
I was trying to avoid the bed and breakfasts of Cape May, and Congress Hall seemed like the best hotel online, and it ended up being true. Old historic buildling renovated nicely, with really comfy beds, and really cool funky hotel bar (and club (?) "The Boiler Room" - which I didn't get to see in action due to my Thursday night stay). Everything was clean and nice, but you could tell part of it was old (but hardly noticed). Right on the water, so great view too. My Thursday rate was great, but couldn't stay Friday night because the weekend rate was too high.
“A Wonderful Hotel...”
... especially at Christmas! This is the second year we have stayed at Congress Hall around Christmas and love it. It is so beautifully decorated; it really puts you in the spirit! The hotel is just beautiful and the rooms are comfortable, especially the bed! Overall we had a fabulous stay. I would love to stay here during the summer, but the rates are just too high during the season. The off-season rates (through Expedia) are very reasonable and you get your money's worth. I would highly recommend this hotel.
“Enjoyed Congress Hall”
The hotel is impressive; the staff was excellent; the room we had was a bit small, but I guess that should be expected in such an old hotel. Dinner in the Blue Pig was fabulous. Seemed a little pricey for this time of year and not on a weekend, but enjoyed the experience.
“charming and bright”
This hotel is charming, from the rocking chairs out front to the bright colors inside. We really enjoyed our stay. The room was big enough for our pack and play to set up out of the way, and the environment was very family friendly.
“Won't Stay Anywhere Else”
Unbelieveable location, amazingly comfortable and clean room and terrific restaurants at the best hotel in a one-of-a-kind Town. If you're worried about missing out on some of the history or charm of Cape May by not staying at a bed n' breakfast, fear not. Congress Hall has all the old charm and history with a high class feeling. My wife and I won't stay anywhere else now!
“Best stay in Cape May”
We have stayed many places both here and abroad of this proported caliber and they lived up to every boast. The staff was excellent and the overall facility was as advertised and more. The amenities are great and the restaurants and bars in the hotel are excellent. I have stayed at many Inns in Cape May and this was the most enjoyable and does not stray from the overall feeling of Victorian atmosphere. The rest are great but this is the best. I have also recommended to others who have stayed recently and have come back to thank me. I will not hesitate for next year.
“Experience with pleasure”
Dispite the cold weather and wind, we had an extremely comforting weekend stay at Congress Hall.
“Excellent accomodations and service..”
Ideally located
“Very Impressive Hotel”
A very enjoyable and comfortable hotel. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
