“Beautiful hotel - very helpful staff”
This is a beautiful hotel right on the water. nice outdoor pool and room balcony overlooking river and pool. The staff at the front desk were extremely friendly, pleasant, and helpful. They gave us great ideas for sightseeing, restaurants, and travel info. Nice bar area with music and happy hour. Good restaurant with breakfast buffet. Beautiful patio by the pool to sit at night and watch boats on the water. We were extremely pleased with this hotel and would definitely recommend it.
“Right for the Price”
Nice hotel with a relaxing view a the marina. The pool area is very relaxing and there is a very nice sitting area to watch the sun go down as well just hang out w/ whoever you are with. Also, the room we had was a King and had very high ceilings which made the room feel open. The beds were very comfortable. If you book try and specify that you would like a balcony room or at least one that faces the marina because it will give you a very nice view from your room.
“Very nice riverfront hotel.”
This hotel was very nice. It is perhaps more suited for those with a car, as there are only fast-food restaurants nearby - easy to order in though. Nice location on the river, but it is not close to the historic district of Charleston.
“Good place to stay”
For my needs, the location and services were perfect. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. I also enjoyed the breakfast offered, although it seems like it should have been complementary.

The view of the hotel from the outside was great. Everyone was helpfully and only a few minutes from market street.
“Great place to stay just outside of downtown area”
Beautiful hotel right on the marina. It's not directly in the downtown but with free parking and the downtown area only a short drive away it is still a great place to stay. Lovely rooms and a nice outdoor pool overlooking the marina!

I thought this hotel was in a great location! Parking was easy. The only thing I would complain about is the restaurant......they only serve breakfast. I think they should serve lunch and dinner also.

The staff and the hotel were great. Easy check in and out, friendly people everywhere, convienent, clean, and quiet. The staff is professional, knowledgeable, and extremely friendly and helpful. I can't wait to go back. Not only did I have a great stay, I made new friends. You can't ask for a better getaway.
“Great Hotel!”
Great hotel. We took our daughter and her friend to Charleston after her graduation, along with my mother, and wanted something with a pool but also close to the Historic District. This was perfect. Major attractions were only a 5 minute car ride away and the parking at the hotel is free! The hotel was very pretty and the view of the water was beautiful. Staff was great. We will definitely go here again.
“The location is great and services were outstanding.”
The Courtyard Marriott was very clean and comfortable. The maid service did not start knocking on doors early in the morning. This is important to a person who likes to sleep late when on vacation. The only drawback to the entire stay was that the restaurant was only open for breakfast. This could be overlooked with the great nunmber of fine restaurants offered in the area. The personnel were extremely helful and the hot tub felt great even on a 40 degree night. Having a parking garage made one feel safer than with a traditional lot. Overall, the experience was very good.
