“Fantastic service from a friendly staff!”
When I first arrived I noticed an array of thank-you cards along the front desk, and now I understand why. The entire staff were courteous and friendly, and a few went really far out of their way to make our stay fantastic. When our tour (not affiliated with the hotel) went astray, the desk clerks went into overdrive to find us an alternative. This is just one example of all the nice things these wonderful people did for us in our three days in Clare. I would absolutely recommend this hotel for their friendly family atmosphere and their willingness to make you feel at home.
“Excellent customer service”
From the moment we arrived at the front door until our departure, we were treated like family. The receptionist at the front desk was very pleasant.She was excited to welcome us and offered information about the hotel, as well as places to see in the surrounding area, without being prompted. As we passed by the front desk she always asked how we were doing and if there was anything we needed help with. Much to our surprise, when we were departing the next morning she was still at the front desk. I asked if she worked all night and she mentioned that she left late last night and that she came in early that morning. She told us to not miss the great breakfast. She bid us farewell on our departure and hoped that she would see us back. More businesses could learn a lot from such a quality employee.

My husband and I went to Ireland for the first time, and we booked a room at the Woodstock Hotel. It was a very nice hotel. Our room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We had never stayed in a room that required the room key to be put in a slot to turn on the lights, but thought this was a great way to save on electricity, carbon emissions, etc. The staff was incredibly friendly and the pub located on the grounds had great food and a friendly atmosphere. The hotel was perfectly located to visit any of the sights on the Western coast. We would definitely go back!

It had been a long flight and our family was tired. We arrived at the hotel prior to check in and were greeted very warmly. We were allowed to check in early which was wonderful. It was cold in Ireland the week we were there. Each evening when we returned to the hotel there was a roaring fire in the fireplace to welcome us. It is a feeling of comfort I won't soon forget. The bar was cozy and a fantastic place to unwind from the day's excursions. Again, staff everywhere OUTSTANDING! The room was nice and we felt comfortable and safe.

Excellent facilities, staff very friendly and helpful, including general manager. Facilities first class. Looking to return in near future. Golf course at hotel is well maintained park land course.
“Comfy quiet hotel”
Nice and quiet albeit a bit out of town,but no problem if you have a car. Modern style hotel located next to a golf course. Some of it will need to be re-decorated before long. Food excellent and nice friendly staff.
“Outstanding experience at Woodstock Hotel”
We spent 10 days at Woodstock hotel and were extremely please with every aspect. The staff, room, restaurant, pub, location, parking, etc all exceeded our expectations. We were very pleased with the staff who were most helpful and accomodating, even offering a free ride to and from town. We will definitely stay at Woodstock again !!!
