"Loved this resort. I read some negative reviews, mostly around the volume of the music... I wasn't there when those reviews were written but I can say that my experience does not align with ANY negative review of any type. From check-in to housekeeping to food and beverage to valet, we didn't have a single issue and so I highly recommend visiting Shepards on your next trip to Clearwater. As a point of reference - we are 50's / 60's in age and traveled without children. While there, walk next door to Jimmy's Seafood restaurant (not part of Shepards), grab a seat on the wooden patio overlooking the water and ask for Momma D to serve you. Then sit back, relax and enjoy some great food and an even better atmosphere. "
