“What a deal!”
I originally was surprised to get such a great price on a five-star hotel. Upon arrival I understood, because it was actually a pension. A bit apprehensive, I went to check in and was immediately put at ease. The facilities were immaculate, the staff was fluent in English and extremely professional, and the room was amazing. Although not too close to the city center, the location was perfect because it was quiet and close to a beautiful park. The event that sticks out most in my head is that I needed a shirt ironed for dinner, but there was no iron in the room. I needed to be leaving in 30 minutes, so I went to the desk to ask if they had an iron. Although there was noone there at that time of night to press clothes, they ran it to someone who would and had it back to me within 20 minutes, and the night was a great success. I have never heard of a five-star pension, but this place definitely deserves the rating!
“A Fine Hotel”

The first thing to bear in mind is that this place is a "Pension" and not really a hotel. The second thing is that "5 Star" in the UK means something quite different to "5 Star" in Romania. I'd say "2 star". Having said that, the hotel is welcoming and clean, if quite dark and claustrophobic. The rooms are basic but comfortable enough, although you need some clever footwork to successfully use the bathroom. My room had no window at a normal height, only a Velux skylight, which, being 6'7", I managed to open. Shorter guests may need to use the air conditioning. Breakfast was perfectly acceptable. We did have a minor issue...returning at midnight after witnessing Chelsea's dour 0-0 draw, we were pleased to find the staff were prepared to rustle us up some toasted sandwiches, to go with our post-match beer but we weren't allowed to charge these to our room, or pay by card. These, they insisted, had to be paid for in cash. Very odd. The hotel is handy for the town centre but situated in a fairly quite suburban side street. Also handy for the football ground, but beware of the mountainous climb to the stadium.
“To expensive for that comfort”
Room was to small, clean but small. For the second person they charge 25€ and thats outrage. Bathroom was clean but not having a tub, just a shower at this price. Breakfast was ok and was include in price. I will not recommended to stay there, to expensive for what have to offer
“Bad eexperience”
This place is disgusting. Says 5 star hotel, its a 1 star pensione. Rude front desk staff, breakfast you would not serve to a dog, very expensive mini bar prices, no window in the room its like a prison cell, no room in the bathroom to even sit on the wc. We asked for king size bed and it was 2 single beds pushed together. My tip, STAY AWAY!
