“Comfort and style”
A lovely, stylish hotel with really comfortable beds and a good location. The staff were friendly and helpful (as was everybody we met in Copenhagen) and our stay was excellent.
“Lovely hotel, fantastic staff, narrow rooms!”
The room was narrow as per other reviews and when my tall partner was in bed, there was no room to squeeze past his feet but instead it was a case of stepping over them. But as we were pre-warned, not too disappointing. The bed itself was very comfortable with lovely light fluffy duvet and soft pillows. The staff were unfailingly smiley, pleasant, efficient and helpful. The free computers in the lobby were very useful as was the bar. Lovely location and nice views onto the canal.
“Holiday at the Admiral”
Convenient location, great accomodations, easy access to many good restaurants, and cozy atmosphere with a reasonable price made this hotel a wonderful vacation experience.
“Copenhagen Harbor Hotel”
Nice harbor view and historical with large beams of former warehouse. Reception personnel were helpful and great to have three computers for guests.
“Great Stay”
The Admiral was perfect for my stay. The staff was friendly and helpful for the questions I had. I liked being on the waterfront and the character of the hotel. Everything was within walking distance that I needed. I ate at other local restuarants, so I can't comment on the food. I would stay there again.
“Totally met our needs”
After reading mixed reviews of this hotel, we weren't sure what we should expect. However, the hotel's close proximity to where our son is staying for the semester trumped our hesitations. So glad! We had a lovely experience and it met all of our needs, and more. It was an easy walk to Ny Havn and the Kongens Nytorv metro stop in one direction and the Queens residence, Citadel and Little Mermaid in the other, while still being on a realtively quiet street. We had a standard double and it was plenty big, with room for a little coffee table and chairs. The bathroom was big enough and clean as well. We didn't eat at the restaurant, so can't comment on that...but the proximity to lots of restauarants at NyHavn was great. (even though this seems to be a tourist area, locals eat at and recommend many of these restaurants) Staff was helpful with our few questions and needs. The only drawback was that the walls do seem to be a bit thin. It wasn't noisy on our floor, so not a problem for us, but I could see that it could potentially be an issue. However, not one that would keep me from staying there again.
“Excellent”
Wonderful hotel - great location and lots of atmosphere - good value and decent sized room. Parking at the hotel was very convenient. Cool bar and restaurant. Tea / coffee facilities in the room was the only thing that was lacking.
“Recommended”
Great location, unusual construction (used to be a granary) and all the usual Scandinavian hotel qualities such as the rooms being clean and comfortable if a little on the small side.
“ideal location”
I visited this hotel with my daughter. Central location very safe area. Food excellent about 20 minutes from airport. Near to many points of interest within walking distance. Close to shops. Would highly recommend.
“Great Hotel”
Great location and very charming. It was a great start to our vacation. Well within walking distance to the subway and near restaurants. The room was small without air conditioning, but in September, it was fine. I would highly recommend this hotel.
