"We arrived at about 9pm and had a hard time finding the place to check in. There were only a few outside lights and no office marked. After wandering around in the dark for awhile, we spoke to a lady walking around the building who apparently worked there or owned it. She led us to an office +unmarked). At first, they could not find our reservation. Finally, they found it and we were led by the same lady to another building in the dark. No outside lights were turned on and there were many steps...

"The deluxe two bedroom apartment had three patio areas, beds with good quality mattresses and was only a block from the beach and many restaurants. There were parking spaces for the units, a rarity in Chania. We were very happy with this accommodation."

"The apartment was very clean with daily cleaning service. The area around had a bunch of shops and local cafes. The historical sites were at most a 10 min walk. There is a parking garage that is at most a 5 min walk and is next to a grocery store. I arrived earlier than planned and was able to get a room even though checkin was at 15. Highly recommend "

Washing machine provided but no instructions and would not turn off or release door to remove clothes. Four hours of non stop running. No one around to help- owner left town."

"Very beautiful views atop a mountain overlooking the Mediterranean. The road up is a challenge, for sure. Probably unlike anything else you have driven, but very doable with a little patience. The size of the place it a little tight for a family of 4, but you can make it work. The pool and patio are lovely and the hosts are very kind. "

"Great property: 2 bed, 2nd floor, safe, fantastic private deck . Can easily do breakfast and dinner on the deck. However, did not see any pots and pans for cooking. Note there is no parking available. However, a car in a disadvantage in Chania. Driving and parking is horrible in Chania. But a great town to visit for a few days. Would happily stay at the Dei Miracoli again."

The owners kept us well informed of all we needed to know including the best places to dine in the area and slightly further afield.
